Patch Notes 14: The Treetop Update!

Greetings Smallfolk!

This update, we're doing something a little bit different. We're going to release all new content on the Experimental Branch we want to test out the features in a smallfolk ran environment and give ourselves the time to adjust and balance things as necessary.

Details on how to access the branch, as well as back up your character are located here:

The forest is growing, can you keep up! There is now a traversable canopy connecting all of the great trees in the overhands, it is build able and is inhabited by familiar creatures and the band new mantises!

Tameable Mantises now inhabit the overlands with their unsetting gaze and fast, fierce swiping attacks

With this new area, there is also a new world event, triggered by swiping one of the mantis eggs yourself and incubating it in a new incubation building workstation - the mantises will want their eggs back, and they'll be bringing back up!

Thankfully, mantises don't have Admiral Ackbar to point these out to them, to defend yourself against base raids, there are now traps. Spike walls and spike floors can be made from pyrite or wood to stave off any attack.

All content is subject to change. please leave feeback in the Public Test Forum; https://steamcommunity.com/app/768200/discussions/4/

So that we can keep track of information related to the test branch, thank you.
