Here's a rundown of recent v3 updates:
- Interface : Complete makeover for all menus with easier navigation both with mouse/keyboard and controller.
- Visuals : Many improvements to character movement animations and the system handling them.
- Gameplay/visuals : cosmetic improvements and fixes regarding split steps.
- Gameplay : Increased character inertia overall and specifically a substantial increase when hitting a ground stroke on the move. This is a first step so as not to change the game too much at once. More tuning will probably be necessary.
- Gameplay : It is now much more easier to run towards the net after hitting the ball.
- AI : Improvements to repositioning and inside-out forehands.
- Editor : Integrated editor inside the game's general interface.
- Career/Tournament : Added possibility to watch matches where the player's selected character is controlled by AI. A specific button was added in the tournament view menu to still be able to have the game quickly simulated by AI.
- Quality of life : When resuming a match from a saved game, you are first taken to the pre-game menu where you can choose controller/AI.
- Gameplay : Changed shot outcome display style and added the possibility to customise how long it is shown on-screen.
- Online : Fixed display for opponent nickname in EXHIBITION menu and Ping display during match. Small change in lobby display to better differentiate players who are currently available for a game from those who aren't.
- Cosmetics : Improved serve bar positioning relative to character.
- Gameplay : Increased lob height.
- QoL : Using the quick-save replay button during a replay or a cutscene triggered skipping said replay or cutscene as well.
Thank you for being a part of the Full Ace community and we hope you enjoy these additions and improvements!
