Version 1.10.0

  • New texture name convention to notify the game that a texture should be used as is, instead of using color edition, using suffix _NCE (for No Color Edit).
  • New logo system that allows creating more logos and mixing them with any top or bottom clothes.
  • New racket assets : racket is now textured for easier modding (an example is provided with 'raquette_10_NCE.png').
  • For easier texture modding, right-clicking in the editor's 3d view now reloads textures.
  • Changed EXHIBITION menu for online games so that chat isn't blocked after you choose BEGIN GAME, and can be cancelled as long as your opponent hasn't done the same.
  • Fixed some tricky online synchronization issues, which should improve online experience when it comes to lag.
  • Fixed online sync issues after one of the players opens SETTINGS menu.
  • Fixed a difference of 0.4 millimeters on each side of the serve line between how it was displayed, and umpire/challenge calls, so that the ball would be called out when it should have been in.
  • Fixed audio desync issues in replays saved during online games
  • Fixed crash when using "save replay" button while viewing a previously saved replay.
  • Fixed motion blur sometimes not displaying properly when exporting replay to video.

Version 1.9.1 : New clay assets and new online features.

Version 1.9.1
  • Rendering : Added small tweak so that some dust appears on clay court's lines.
  • Camera : Fixed jerking camera during toss.
  • Bug fix : Coin's heads-tails icon would sometimes not appear when opponent was choosing.
  • Bug fix : Fixed regressions linked to online play that were introduced in version 1.9.0.

Version 1.9.0
  • Graphics : New assets for rendering clay courts.
  • Online : Added AUTO-INVITE option. When activated, anyone coming to the online lobby can respond to your invitation.
  • Online : Lobby is now accessible from any point in the game, and displays the number of users currently playing the game offline/online. It also notifies you when a player activates AUTO-INVITE. Anonymous mode is activated by default so that your nickname doesn't appear when you're playing offline.
  • Online : It is now possible to watch replay of the last point even after your opponent has disconnected.
  • Rendering : Improved ball impact marks aspect.
  • Performance : Fixed slowdown in main menu.
  • Bug fix : Modded umpire name announcements had stopped working in exhibition mode.

Version 1.8.0 : Performance, memory usage & camera customization

  • Performance and memory usage optimizations. Obvious effects are the following two :
    • Memory usage : When using sound patches, you can expect a drastic drop in memory usage. In my tests, I dropped from around 700 Mb to around 100-150 Mb in the interface, and 200-250 Mb in-game.
    • Performance : Small slowdowns used to happen in matches after some time. Those should not exist any more.
  • Settings : Added camera customization options and introduced new presets.
  • Settings : Added "no split" setting to Local Multiplayer option (before, you had to uncheck Camera Behind Player to achieve the same result).
  • Rendering : Fixed issues with specular lighting.
  • Interface : Game now forces a restart when changing Anti Aliasing quality setting, as it should for the change to be effective.

Version 1.7.0 : AI improvements & character lists (PLEASE CHECK UPPERCASE WARNING)

AI : Several improvements, including making it more reactive, consistent and aggressive, and less prone to being wrong-footed.
Database : Modified stats for characters in the database, in order to make career mode more realistic (the way stats are distributed along the rankings. Any resemblance with actual professional players is purely coincidental). Those changes will be automatically applied to the local data.fas, except when it would overwrite changes made by the user. YOU MAY WANT TO MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR DATA.FAS BEFORE RUNNING THE NEW VERSION TO BE SAFE
Career mode : Made several changes to make it more realistic when it comes to how AI players register in tournaments, and AI matches.
Editor : Added options for user to manage character lists, including Cut-Copy-Paste icons (useful to have a separated list of characters for online play that won't interact with career mode, for instance).
Gameplay : Reworked some aspects of the stamina system, so that it is more realistic and more consistent between AI opponents and human players, especially in career mode.
Interface : Added possibility to select characters based on lists, and to filter based on country.
Interface : Many small cosmetic changes and bug fixes.
Bug fix : Fixed a bug that could make the game hang during a match or while simulating AI matches.
Bug fix : Sometimes the human-controlled character would wait to hit the ball just after the 2nd bounce.
Bug fix : Sometimes the human-controlled character would get stuck when the ball was coming at the right distance for his shot, preventing from adjusting forward or backward.
Bug fix : The depth hint wouldn't update after the ball's trajectory would be modified by hitting the net.

Version 1.6.0 : Ball highlight effect + fixes

Gameplay : Added an (optional and configurable) highlight effect to the ball to improve its visibility for people who might need it.
Gameplay : Tuned volleys to make them more reliable.
Bug fix : When tapping a button for serve while the ball was not in the player's hand, the serve bar would fill to max.
Settings : Changed default setting to automatic preparation for pad controls.
