The Golemworks

A dusty tunnel to the side leads to an old dwarven construction facility. Disused parts of golems and other machinery litter the ground. There is surely treasure here, but these tunnels won't lead him to the outside of the mountain!

The DLC introduces a new puzzle element, golem buttons. Push these to cause the golems to move and push things around, freeze in place, or imitate you! This is a level pack for Sub Terra Draconis, providing an extra map with 30 new challenges. The new map is unlocked immediately after the tutorial; you don't have to solve puzzles to find it.

Sub Terra Draconis, now in Portuguese

Sub Terra Draconis is now available in Brazilian Portuguese, thanks to the efforts of Gabriel Lima.

Aside from that, this patch includes bugfixes as follows,
  • Fixed Hatchling achievement unlocking too early.
  • Fixed hintbox maximum width, quicksave button in editor.
  • Fixed workshop license popup on Steam, incremental achiemevents on GOG.
  • Adjusted hint text in Seven Seas of Rhye.

Sub Terra Draconis, now for Linux

Sub Terra Draconis is now available for Linux. This has been tested on Ubuntu 22, and it will most likely run on any recent or semi-recent distro that supports the Allegro library.

Aside from that, this patch includes bugfixes as follows,
  • Added voice narration for the story screens.
  • Fixed file interactions in level editor and Steam workshop.
  • Fixed bug ending on the wrong map screen, and adding hotkeys for map switching.
  • Fixed game hanging after incorrect keypress.
  • Fixed accented letters in German.

Sub Terra Draconis, now in German and Spanish

Sub Terra Draconis is now available in German and Spanish, thanks to the efforts of Brendan Ferreri-Hanberry and Jorge Carrión Mena.

Aside from that, this long-overdue patch includes bugfixes as follows,
  • Fixed achievements for solving/mastering map and cumulative gems.
  • Fixed doors or keys showing incorrect color, dragonfly having empty hint text, hint shown while paused.
  • Fixed scrolling speed, duplicate key mappings, path opening in the Dwarven Caves.
  • Fixed graphics glitch for forest levels, reversing gravity, and bottom of tall levels (e.g. Waterfall).
  • Added extra pre-level info scenes, help text for centering screen.
  • Adjusted gem quota in Falling Up and Down, Little Creatures.
  • Expanded hint text in Bye Bye Buddy, What Would Brian Boitano Do, Pipe Dreams.


Finally, the editor now includes control buttons that the dragon can use to move the golems around.
