Space Force Update

Hello everyone, this is the Ironsight team.

Season 8 : Space Force will be launching with the March 23rd update.

“As the entire world is strengthening it’s space capabilities and power under the pretense of protecting their space facilities, Man&Tech start work on their Space Defense-2100 project and both NAF and EDEN begin recruiting space defense PMC’s. A new age of information warfare, satellite destruction, space facility protection, space exploration, space resource development and protection is upon us.”

The Season 8 Battle Pass contains 100 tiers full of cutting-edge equipment of the future. With two new weapons in the form of the RM277 and Stiletto Knife, many new cosmetics items, emotes, unique weapon skins (including one of the required materials for the new Fury AUG collection weapon), and newly introduced drone skins can also be obtained through the Battle Pass this season.

Search and Destroy Hardcore will truly test your skills, as well as your trigger discipline! Using the base Search and Destroy ruleset, many new rules have been added in order to create a truly unique experience. It’s impossible to get yourself back up once you’ve been knocked down so get a teammate to revive you before you bleed out! In accordance with the more unforgiving rules, parties of up to 5 are now allowed, but be careful because with friendly fire now enabled there’s no way of knowing when and where an accident might occur.

The newest skill, Ammo Supply, will help keep you in the action and prevent you from getting caught out without any ammunition.

Ranked (Solo) will be entering the Off-Season for now (Like Clan and Duel), with further plans to be revealed at a later date.

[h2]3. New Weapons[/h2]

[h3]RM277 (AR)[/h3]

Featuring a bullpup design with a compact structure, the RM277 boasts a high accuracy at long-range due to its long barrel, and uses advanced composite cartridge casings in order to minimize weight.


[h3]Stiletto Knife (Melee)[/h3]


The Stiletto is characterized by it's incredibly sharp blade, which extends and folds like a switchblade

[h3]4. New Collection Weapon[/h3]

The Fury AUG has been added to the Collection Weapon list. (The accompanying Fury Silencer can only be equipped with the Fury AUG)

Collect one of the three materials for the Fury AUG (the Pharaoh CF-X50) by reaching level 95 on this seasons Battle Pass.

  The City M39 EMR, which is a required material for the AK-12 Royal Jester collection weapon, can now be acquired via the Collection Box.

[h2]5.Drone Skins[/h2]

This season, unique skins for the Metal Reaper, Observer, and Spy Drones can be obtained via the battle pass, and we will continue to release more drone skins in the future.

[h2]6. Search and Destroy Hardcore [/h2]

Based on the Search and Destroy mode, a hardcore variant is now available for competition. Queue up solo or as a party of up to 5 through the separate special matching button.

[h2]7.[Rust] Map Update[/h2]

Various pieces of cover have been added to the EDEN spawn point in order to improve the situation of being exposed.

[h2]8. Ammo Supply Skill [/h2]

When this skill is equipped, upon killing an enemy they will drop a magazine which will be automatically picked up when you walk over it, replenishing some of your ammunition. (This skill can be equipped in the second slot)

[h2]9.Daily Log-in Rewards[/h2]

Daily log-in rewards have been updated. Find out more in-game!

[h2]10. Weapon Balance[/h2]

Some weapons have had their stats adjusted.

  • Maximum effective ranged decreased by 10%
    
  • Reduced the amount of flinch inflicted

  • Minimum and Maximum effective range both increased by 10%
    
  • Recoil Control increased by 1
• [Honey Badger]
  • Minimum and Maximum effective range both increased by 10%
    
  • Headshot damage multiplier increased from 1.2 > 1.4
• [AR57]
  • Headshot damage multiplier increased from 1.5 > 1.6
    
  • Maximum effective range increased by 30%
• [M16A4]
  • Abdominal and Arm hit damage increased by 6%
    
  • Recoil Control increased by 1

[h2]12. Bug Fixes and Improvements[/h2]

• The lobby has been updated to fit the theme of Season 8
  
• [Skill] Fixed a glitch causing Device Detection to appear twice.
  • If your third slot skill is empty now, please re-equip the skill.
• [Butterfly Knife] Special animations for rare grade and higher Butterfly Knife skins has been added.
  
• The footstep sound for Sentinel characters has been adjusted.
  • The volume has been adjusted to more closely match that of the human characters.
• The ‘Open-Beta Phase’ text has been removed.
  • Although there are still a lot of insufficient and inadequate aspects that we plan on continuously improving moving forward, we have removed this tag as it seems to give a false impression to those who cherish Ironsight.
