12.14 New Event Mode, Daily Shop, & End of Season 10



Hello everyone, this is the Ironsight Team.

This week's maintenance will mark the closing of Season 10. Following its conclusion, no further progress can be made on the Season 10 Battle Pass, and ranked rating for Ranked [Solo] Season 10 will no longer be obtainable, with the leaderboards for the season being finalised.

We hope everyone has enjoyed Season 10, and we know you are all looking forward to the next season. Unfortunately, however, we regret to inform you that the release of Season 11 will be postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the development team. The Ironsight team is working to minimize the impact of the situation as best as they can, and we will share an updated schedule with everyone as soon as possible once the working environment has been normalized. We thank you for your understanding.

It’s not all bad news though! This week’s update contains a lot of large and exciting new features for everyone! Firstly, a new ranked event mode ‘Pistol Secure Point’ will be available. Precise aim will be required so don’t miss a shot as you try to hold the points of interest around the map with only a pistol in hand. Keep a steady hand and secure your place on the event leaderboards.

A new ‘Daily Store’ section has also been added to the Store tab. The Daily Store will offer you 2 new deals every day, with items on offer that aren’t normally purchasable! Missed a previous Battle Pass season or looking for a specific item from a box? Be sure to check-in every day to see what’s available!

Please make sure to disconnect from the servers in advance in order to avoid any issues.

  • Battle Pass Season 10 will come to a close
  • The Zulu PP-2000, a collection material for the Overlab P90, will be added to the Collection Box
  • The base versions of the M5i and Kukri can now be purchased directly with GP
  • Ranked mode will transition into the pre-season
  • Season 10 Ranked rewards will be delivered following maintenance

    Use the daily store to directly purchase items that you may have missed in the past, or items that aren't normally purchasable in the store!

[h2]Pistol Secure Point Ranked Mode[/h2]


    A new ‘Pistol Secure Point’ Ranked Event mode is about to begin!

    Proficiency in Secondary Weapons is a crucial skill to have in order to be an efficient mercenary. However we sometimes neglect our smaller firearms when we have access to much more powerful options. Use this event mode to hone your skills with pistols and prove that the size of your weapon truly doesn't matter.

    • Event Schedule: December 14 ~ February 1

      • Pistols only (If there is no Pistol in the loadout selected, one will be chosen for you at random
        *Excluding semi-automatic pistols
      • Mode type: Secure Point
      • Team Size: 6 vs 6
      • Respawns - O (Respawn Time: 5 seconds)
      • Drones - X
      • Melee Weapons - O (Excluding Heavy Attacks)
      • Lethal/Tactical Equipment - Flash Grenades Only

      • There will be a new Pistol Secure Point leaderboard for the duration of the event
      • Your rating will be updated as you play Pistol Secure Point

[h2]Bug Fixes and Improvements[/h2]
  • [EAC] A stability update has been applied
  • [VIVOX] The latest update has been applied
  • The Game Results screen now displays more detailed information regarding XP earned
  • Clan Announcements will now properly display the most recent item.

    Added December 15th

      A bug causing Pistol Secure Point records to be recorded in your account's overall KDA and Winrate has been corrected.
      The records will only be saved in the [Mode] and [Map] records.
