05.25 Update Maintenance

[h3]Bug Fixes and Improvements[/h3]
  • [Match Balance] Improved the team balance logic during the pre-game lobby stage in order to improve overall balance between teams.
  • [Aegis OTs-14] Corrected an issue with the default silencer's handle model.
  • [VSS] Corrected an issue that occurred when shooting whilst prone.

05.18 Update Maintenance



Hello everyone, this is the Ironsight team.

This update is aimed at correcting the irregular UDP related errors that some users may have experienced, interrupting their game experience.

Additionally, when a character encounters significant Packet Delay or Packet Loss, along with the relevant icon being displayed on the users screen, that characters actions will be briefly locked in order to help alleviate the de-synchronization issues that occur from the point of view of the other players.
Initially this lock will take effect when the delay exceeds 500ms, and we will continue to monitor and adjust this threshold before gradually lowering it.

[h3]Bug Fixes and Improvements[/h3]


  • Fixed code that was suspected to be causing the ‘UDP Join Request (-1982)' error.
  • Users will now be automatically kicked from the match if they encounter a UDP error in certain situations.
  • When Packet Loss or Packet Delay occurs, the characters position may be rolled-back, or halted briefly.

  • In the Video Options tab, ‘Terrain Quality’ has been changed to ‘Shader Quality’
  • Texture Quality options will no longer effect the Lobby Screen, which will always load using the best resolution.
  • Adjusted the way in-game textures are loaded.
  • The lobby lighting setup has been adjusted.

05.11 Maintenance



Hello everyone, this is the Ironsight team.

This update will correct a number of issues that were occurring when players joined/left games in progress. We will continue to monitor the issue after the patch to ensure that the update is working as intended, and that no other issues are present.

[h3]Bug Fixes and Improvements[/h3]


  • A special reload animation has been added for the Angry Eagle DSR-1 weapon skin.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the matching queue to be cancelled intermittently.
  • Fixed a bug that, following certain circumstances involving players joining/leaving the game in progress, meant that no more players were able to join the game in progress, or be assigned to a specific team.
    • (This should help reduce the amount of team balance issues that arise from players joining/leaving games in progress)

Hello everyone, this is the Ironsight team.

In order to create an enjoyable experience across the globe, Ironsight has 10 servers located in many parts of the world, operating in North America (West, Center, East), Europe (Germany, France), South America (Brazil), and Asia (Korea, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong).

Among our efforts to improve the netcode, we are working to provide the best experience possible through physical and technical improvements, as well as releasing several patches with improvements.

This update adds new Network Packet Loss and Network Status Indicators that will help identify in real-time what connection problems you are experiencing.

Whilst playing you can use these new notifications to understand what kind of circumstances you are in whenever an issue arises. Whenever you face an issue, please report it to Customer Service. The update also includes more detailed logs that will allow the team to gain a deeper understanding of any issues you may encounter.

  • [Capture the Flag] Rust has been removed from the map pool. [Added on May 04]
  • [Achievements] Fixed a bug causing Assassin achievement to not progress correctly with the use of some melee weapons. [Added on May 04]

  • Fixed a bug where the Storm Shield Barrier was not properly blocking damage.
  • Fixed a bug where players could not see other players Emotes during the winning ceremony.
  • Fixed a bug causing the game to abnormally end as soon as the match begins.
  • Improved the third-person animations when the upper body is bent forward/back.
  • (When ‘Display FPS’ is enabled) Added a min/max ping display at the top of the screen.
    This displays your lowest and highest ping during the match.
  • (When ‘Display FPS’ is enabled) Added a packet loss display at the top of the screen.
    This displays the percentage of packets lost during the match.
  • Added Network Packet Loss and Network Status Icons.
    • Packet Loss
      This icon will be displayed when packets are lost due to network instability during the transmission/reception of network packets with the server.

    • High Latency
      This icon signifies that the delay with the server is high, leading to an increase in desynchronization, and a worse play experience.

    • Latency Variation
      This icon will be displayed when your latency to the server fluctuates significantly over a short period of time.
