We’ve released a new update for the World Maps DLC, bringing empty map variants to all 10 maps, allowing you to build from scratch on untouched landscapes. Alongside this, we’ve improved DLC map visibility in the menu, resolved an issue with the railway tutorial objective, and added the iconic Mostar Bridge as a new landmark on the Yugoslavia map.

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic - Update 1.0.0.19

Hello Comrades,

We’re back with an update for the World Maps DLC. Based on your feedback, we’ve added empty map variants for each map in the DLC. These versions allow you to start from scratch, building your republic on untouched landscapes. We’ve also resolved a few issues and added a new landmark to the Yugoslavia map.

Blank Map Variants: All 10 maps in the DLC now include blank versions. These maps feature only the natural terrain, giving players complete freedom to plan and build without existing infrastructure.

Improved DLC Map Visibility: DLC maps are now easier to locate in the menu, even if they haven’t been purchased.
Railway Tutorial Objective: Resolved an issue with the railway tutorial objective related to Rail CO.

Soviet city builder Workers and Resources adds North Korea and more in map DLC

Released earlier this year to stellar reviews and only rising since, city-building simulator Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic has set its sights on new lands. While the base game centers around building a Soviet republic from the ground up, the new World Maps DLC lets you bring socialism to new shores, including the British Isles, France, and even North Korea. Yes, you can build your own Soviet republic in North Korea.

City builder Workers & Resources finally brings socialism to the USA and UK with latest DLC

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, the Warsaw Pact-era city-building sim from 3DIVISION and Hooded Horse, is getting eight new maps scattered across the globe. These include a map set in the Eastern United States, from approximately New York State down to North Carolina, and another one set in Rock Paper Shotgun's very own United Kingdom, where Karl Marx wrote most of his best stuff.

"Nowhere is safe from having its economy meticulously managed in minute detail by discerning comrades," explains the announcement release. I for one welcome our new socialist overlords.
