The Void Rains Upon Her Heart News

v7.16a - December 5th, 2022
-Removed a tiny speed acceleration delay every time you start moving. It was imperceptible to most players and I honestly forgot it existed. It didn't really serve any purpose to gameplay, so I removed it.
-Pearl's eyeball will now visibly escape if you do not break it in time
-Added alternate blood bullets that contrast against certain backgrounds
-Some backgrounds will be tinted when battling monsters that can attack with blood bullets
-Fixed a graphical error on one of Default's forms

[h2]New Monster[/h2]
The final common glyph monster may have been Chionotoh, but I still had to add a shiny glyph to the list. So far, there hasn't been any alternate battles for any of the glyphs, and that trend continues with the new shiny!

I'll let you discover who the new glyph is. Some of you already guessed it correctly. A couple of you even predicted her name perfectly!

There has been a slight change of plans for events. Two of them will be affected by a certain new mechanic that will be introduced in v8.0 along with "The Towers" mode. So there are only 4 events remaining for version 7.x

-Bug Fix: It was possible for Long dream names to use a notification box that is too small to contain it
-Bug Fix: It was possible to unlock one of Chionotoh's dreams in a battle with Emerald

I got a new glyph monster for you this time! The final glyph slot went to Chionotoh the ice glyph!

Also, for the overachievers out there, you can now earn new Sublime medals in Endless mode! These are retroactive, but you must complete a run via heartbreak as any character so that the game will update and save your totals.

• The Link Synapse would warn that Lovely Hearts, Tiny Wings, and Starry Night were for inactive shot types
  
• During Shiny battles, letting a part escape would visually remove the shy pink combo tint until the next time the love bar was filled
  
• It was possible for the Self Doubt event to trigger at levels above the difficulty maximum. Excess levels are always reduced at the start of each stage, but this now occurs at the start of this event too.
  
• A suspended run would rarely fail to load if you scored over 4096 motes in the previous battle before saving

-1 new power gift (Total: 212)
-Added scenes for encountering Vitrea's event for the first time as Her Heart and Defect
-Added a scene for the first encounter with the new shiny
-Various adjustments to the new shiny battle (most notably, reduced the amount of bullets after her finale super attack)
-Increased the score medal goals for the new battle
-Bug Fix: it was possible for treasure bullets to get stuck orbiting around the heart instead of being collected
-Bug Fix: Pearl's pearls would still flash while damage flash was turned off
