This update introduces a new event that is exclusive to Altered Story mode. Once you get to a certain point in a run, you can sacrifice you panics and gifts to add up to 3 extra battles to the run. This one is for all the high score chasers looking for a challenge out there!

Because of this new event, I have increased the score goals for the score medals in Altered Story mode.

The main addition this week is 4 new monster events! I hope the runs and characters are starting to feel more alive with all these random events!

About half of the trading and free gift events are done now. I have also finished the art for nearly all the characters that will talk! The most time consuming part of making these is now the writing.

I didn't get to finish the Altered Story exclusive event this week, but I'm pretty sure I can finish it before the next update in 2 weeks.

10 new gifts for you!

This week's update is a little smaller as I work on finishing up many other things coming up.

My main goal for the next update on the 17th is to have the big Altered Story exclusive event finished. This one will allow you to extend the run by up to 3 extra battles, but you will have to make some sacrifices to do this. This is intended to be the ultimate high score challenge for the mode.

Five new Monster Events to unlock!

[h3]Monster Trade Events![/h3]
Calorie, Monovai, and Frozen Veyeral all want to trade gifts with you! Each of them prefers gifts of a specific element. If you have more of that gift type, then they are more likely to trade with you.

[h3]Monster Visit Events![/h3]
Ombroah and Burning Veyeral can appear to give you free gifts! These events will replace the "No One's Gift" event if either of these monsters are loved before it. If multiple of these monsters are loved, then it will choose one randomly.

There will be at least 1 event of both types per monster family!

The intention with all of these events is to have 1 or 2 different random monsters interacting with you on every run.

v7.3a - May 9th, 2022
-All quick gifts that override attack elements will now buff attacks that are already that element
-The low health threshold for Anxiety and the warning SFX will now be increased to 25% of max hp if that value is higher than 7.5 hp
-Anchor now increases heart rate and shot speed
-Scrambla Maw's starting rate of fire is reduced from 3 to 1.5, but has the same cap
-Cross Twin can be activated with a panic attack or if a hit is blocked by any effect
-Twin Heart's starting panics are reduced from 3 to 2 in non-quickplay modes
-Lila will now drop some extra motes every time she flys away (her medal score goals remain the same)
-Changed the sprite of some bouncy zap attacks to help distinguish which ones are breakable
-Bug Fix: Veyeral Quartet's bouncy zap attack did not flash when hit, or have a health bar with the effect of Fear Sense
-Bug Fix: Lila was using Scrambla's cover mist if the "cover nudity" option was on
