It's over a week later than I thought, but here it is! Let's just say the remaining minigames won't be getting nearly as complex as this one! This was actually the first bonding time event that I designed back when I was still deciding what to do with the new events. I'm trying to get through the tougher ones first, so I don't procrastinate on them!

I hope these are coming off as a fun distraction during the main game. It's important that these get introduced far enough into the game as to not become overwhelming when players are still figuring out the main game.

I'm also able to explore all these characters that I really had no plans for a few years ago. My favorite part is when someone changes their mind on disliking a fight because of that monster's event!

The Moonana team is working on wrapping up their game "Keylocker" and although I finished most of my work on that project last year, they need me to finish up a few final things next month. For this reason, I can't give a date on the next update, just hopefully one sometime in April.

One thing I can say for sure about the next update is it will have the next heart boss at least!

-Added new interactions and another minigame to Voltage Veyeral's event
-Rebalanced some charge values from Voltage Veyeral's event
-You can see a preview of how most options will affect Voltage Veyeral's charge
-Bug Fix: Staying on a victory screen for a timed minigame for too long would continue to drain Bonding Time
-Bug Fix: Taking a burden from Voltage Veyeral showed "undefined" text above the choices
-Bug Fix: The rule that allows 2 Bonding Time events in a run did not work, so only 1 could be encountered
-Bug Fix: After Knot Knott was defeated, their remaining eyes would not explode in the correct positions

[h2]Voltage Veyeral's Event[/h2]
I was a day late, but It's time to add the final event for the Veyeral Quartet! This is one of the most complex events in the entire game. With the exception of Sentinel's Quiz, there are just so many things that can happen and reactions to those things. In fact, I didn't actually get to finish every part of it I had planned yet, but I do want to have it out there to see if I need to rebalance anything.

The 2 current Bonding Time events show the range of what I have planned. Half of them will be as simple as the Split Veyeral minigames, while the rest will have more complex interactions like Voltage Veyeral's event. Ultimately, they will all be minigame based though.

This update is a small one, but I have 3 very good excuses. First, this event was really complex to make. Second, there was a few really obscure crashes that were found and I had to fix. Third and most importantly, I've been obsessively playing the great Helldivers 2! But you'll soon find out first hand how obsessed I've really been. Just check out the new event. [h2]Updates and tweaks[/h2]

  • When taking gifts from the Link Synapse, there will be a warning about taking multiple gifts with no stacking effects. This is mostly relevant with the 3 shot activator gifts.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Hitting multiple breakable saw projectiles with an AOE or beam attack would divide damage across them, but that was not intended in this case
  • Heliola's burn beams did an unintentional extra 1 point of zap damage
  • After loading a suspended run, using a quick gift that added extra monster options could freeze the game
  • It was possible to soft lock the game in the Check Heart menu if you mash a bunch of buttons during events

I know a lot of people forget the panic related challenges often. Let's see if this new little reminder is enough for most of you.
