Near-Term Roadmap
Hello Cosmoteers! Wow, this has been a wild week! Cosmoteer's Steam launch has gone well beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for all your support.
I want let you know what my plans are for the next couple weeks of Cosmoteer updates:
Unfortunately I can't give an exact timetable for these fixes in features. A lot depends on how quickly I can track down the remaining crashes and desyncs. (The desyncs in particular can take a really long time to solve.) But I promise you that I'm working as hard and as fast as I can! Thank you for your patience!

I want let you know what my plans are for the next couple weeks of Cosmoteer updates:
- Multiplayer stability improvements. I believe I have already solved most of the disconnection issues and some but not definitely all of the desyncs. This continues to be my highest priority.
- Crash fixes. Also a very high priority of course.
- Allow building new ships in Career mode without having to find an abandoned ship or separate a piece of your own ship. This is one of the most-requested features for Career mode.
- Allow respawning after being destroyed in Career mode, instead of having to load a save. This is probably the biggest issue in co-op right now (other than the stability issues), but I also intend to support it in single-player (with an option to turn it off).
- Mid/late-game performance issues. I've been hearing a lot about these and will definitely look into them when I get the chance. Thanks to everyone who have sent in saved games with performance issues.
