Per Aspera Co-Op Beta - Round 2!

Hey everyone!

You may, or may not, remember we already held a Beta for our upcoming Co-Op Update in December, right before Christmas. Today we'd like to announce a second round for that Beta, starting this Friday, March 4th, as long as we do not find any martian bugs in the last moments. 😉
We have since worked a lot on fine-tuning the experience and hope you will enjoy this new way to experience Per Aspera.

The Beta will run for approximately two weeks, and while we are certain there should not be any egregious bugs left we will be open to any and all Bug Reports via the forums and our publisher Raw Fury's Bug Report Tools which you can also use to report any bugs for the live game.

Stay tuned for the deployment of the Beta, and instructions on how you will be able to participate on friday!

Per Aspera Co Op Test

Hey everyone,
today we would like to invite all of you to our Open Beta for our upcoming Multiplayer Update!
Before we get into the Hows and Whats, we would like to talk about the Why of offering a timed Beta first.
About the Beta
The Beta will run from today, December 17th 2021, until Sunday, December 19th 2021.
Our Multiplayer works via Peer 2 Peer, as such there are no servers involved. In some rare cases, this direct kind of connection can cause problems for some players.
Mods are not usable in Multiplayer.

How will be able to participate in the Beta by changing to the Multiplayer-Beta Branch.
Please refer to this Gif as to how to change Branches:
How does Multiplayer work?
• Multiplayer is available in Sandbox Mode only.
 • You and up to three of your friends team up to terraform Mars together.
 • It is a Cooperative experience. So you're all in this together.
 • You can save your game and resume it later.
I encountered a bug, what do I do?
You can, of course, post a Bug Report right here on Steam. Please make sure to mention that it is related to Multiplayer, and/or mark it in the Topic Title. It'll help us make sure this Beta does actually work for you all weekend!
You can also use Raw Fury's Bug Reporting Tool. We see every report coming in via this tool, so nothing will be lost here either.

Please provide us as much information as possible. Seriously, the more information we have, the better we can try to fix issues, especially for desynchronization.

Mars city builder Per Aspera gets new patch and an expansion next year

Sci-fi city-building game Per Aspera is celebrating its first anniversary with a new update and a tease for another expansion coming early next year. There have been five major patches since the Mars colony management game launched last December, as well as the free Green Mars expansion that accompanied the most recent 1.5 update.

Today's 1.5.2 patch brings some extra quality-of-life features, such as changes to resource scattering so that there are now a guaranteed number of each resource in a sector. There's a new easier difficulty option called 'Story' for campaign mode, and 'Playground' for the sandbox mode, with other levels apart from the hardest option getting renamed.

In addition to today's patch, a beta for the next major revision - 1.6 - will hit Steam on December 16 and run through to December 23. This should include the first version of a multiplayer mode. "This is a very big system," developer Tlön Industries explains, "so we do not quite know yet when the update [will be] truly ready as a lot of fine-tuning, fixing, and potentially support systems are still required. This will just be a first look, to collect your feedback, test the systems, and see what we need to refine still."
