New Update: Added All Improvements and Features From the Oculus Quest Release

Dear players!

It has been a while since our last update on Steam, but now it's finally here: You can now enjoy all improvements that we've made during the Oculus Quest port here on Steam as well. You can see the complete list of changes further below. Sorry for the delay. We are now back on track!

From now on, both platforms share the same codebase and are almost identical - except for slightly better graphics and heart rate monitor support on PCVR. Future updates will be published on all platforms likewise.

Btw, here is our new trailer showing you some changes already:

Btw, comments and reviews on Steam are also much appreciated and would make our day

Enjoy the update, and thanks for being part of this community!

Cheers,
the devs

Oculus Quest Port is Finally Finished - PCVR (Steam) Update is Coming Soon

Dear players,

This is just a short update about how things are going with the development of PowerBeatsVR:

We've finally finished the Oculus Quest port and started adapting the PCVR version to the latest changes. You should expect that update in November. Unfortunately, porting took longer and required more resources than planned. That's why there haven't been any updates lately. However, if you are interested in the Quest port, you can find more information here: www.powerbeatsvr.com/oculusquest

But now back to PCVR: After the upcoming update, which is going to align all our platforms, you'll receive the same updates as all other platforms. So, don't worry. We won't abandon our Steam users ;-). This is the platform that started everything!

So, thank you all for your patience!

Cheers,
the devs

You will have the chance to reach the highest score for the first song until 26/06/21 at 23:59 CEST.

The second song will be announced 27/06/21 at 0:00 CEST and you will be able to submit your highest score for that song until 27/06/21 at 23:59 CEST

Only scores that are posted within the "tournament-screenshots" channel in our Discord server will be counted.

Both rounds will be counted for everybody and the sum of both top scores will be taken for the final ranking. The top 3 players will be shown in our “Hall of Fame”. Additionally, the winner of the tournament will receive the Hall of Fame title in our Discord.

You can find all that information and our Hall of Fame here: https://www.powerbeatsvr.com/contests/

PowerBeatsVR Development Roadmap

Dear players!

After our full launch in November and our minor bugfix update in December, we are still very much at work on improving PowerBeatsVR.

We’ve received a lot of great feedback from you, our users, via Steam and Discord. A number of cool features and smaller improvements have been suggested, and we are grateful that so many of you like our game and are interested in its future.

So, we’d like you to know what we are doing and planning in the future.

First, we have identified the Custom Song Generator as an important feature to many of you, and we’ll be releasing a major update focused on new generator features in late summer this year. The update will include many smaller requested features and some bugfixes, too.

Second, we are also working on getting the game on Quest 1 and 2. This will hopefully happen at the end of this year. Rest assured that any improvements we are doing for the Quest will make their way to the PC version as well!

Finally, things do not stop here. We’re planning on further improving the game after these two major milestones, so stay tuned for more updates in 2022!

Thank you for playing PowerBeatsVR!

The team at FiveMindCreations

And as always, any comment and review on Steam is much appreciated and would make our day! Thank you so much
