Field of view [Guide]

It's important to know that every crew member of your ship, whether it's a bot- character or a player-character has its own field of view and range of vision.

Sometimes enemies or resource containers may be behind an obstacle and then the character will have to bypass that obstacle to detect the object.

To see the range of a particular crew member you need to activate the tactical mode and highlight crew member, then you will see a circle that shows how far the character sees.
The same applies to space battles. You do not know who is on the enemy ship until your crew member land there (in the future, planned modules, which scanning the enemy ship).
So, for find, for example, a treasure of pirates you will have to research big areas of the locations!

Purchase ship and equipment [Guide]

Today you will learn how to buy a new ship and install modules and crew on it.

The first thing you need to do is buy the hull of a new ship. They can be buy at the "Player’s station". To do this, from the main game menu you must go into the "Inventory", open the "STORE" tab and buy a hull.
Next, you must make a new "build of the ship". To do this, click the plus sign as shown in the picture below.

After that, a dialog box will appear all hulls, that you have purchased and not used. Choose one of them. After that, you will have a new ship build.
By default, a new ship has only a reactor. Next, you will need to install modules on it as well as the crew. Do not forget about the crew! Without crew you cannot fly anywhere.
To install the module go to the "STORAGE" tab and near with module you need, click the equip button. Next, all the sockets on the ship where this module can be installed will be highlighted.

To put the crew on the ship, also go to the storage tab and click the equip button. A crew member will be included in the assembly of the ship.

Important: after you have configured the build of the ship, do not forget to save it. This will help you restore the ship with all its equipment and crew if it is destroyed during the raid.

Player progress [Guide]

We all love to evolve, and at Spaceship Commander we can become much better than we were.
At the moment, ships of 3 classes are available to us: ganship, corvette, frigate. Buying a new, more powerful ship is a big advance. More weapons, a stronger hull, a larger cargo hold and a larger number of crew, all this directly affects the player’s strength. Different types of crew members with different weapons and resistance to different planetary climatic conditions. Many modules, both military and civilian.
In the game, we can collect or extract resources that can be profitably sold. There is also the opportunity to earn credits for destroying the enemy, for example, winning a space battle, or eliminate pirates on the surface of the planet.
Therefore, I advise you as soon buy yourself at least a corvette and feel yourself as hero. I’m feeling like a Lord of the Universe on a my frigate.

Help system [UPDATE]

List New:
- Introduced a help system. Now for new players the game will become much clearer. Experienced just as well does not hurt to read them, as they may not know about any functionality in the game. Tips can appear under different circumstances in the game.
- Music at locations. Each planet now has its own musical theme. And some locations on this same planet may have their own unique musical theme.
- It has become more convenient to use the System Map.
- Added a special monitor on which the relief is visible where the player is located. This is done to easy understanding of the terrain in the game
- Fixed a bug that could disconect network connection when taking off from Alpha City.
- Now, when taking off the money and score began to be displayed on the scoreboard (if they were received)
- A bit of sprite optimization.

Next, the trailer for the game will be reworked, since the current does not reflect the essence of the current game, but only its battle part. And along the way I will work on optimization. By the way, if you have any problems, you can write to me in PM, or in the community in the bugreport branch.

Resources [Guide]

The game has many different resources. Ore, food, metals, gases, etc. You can find them on planets, in cache, buy on traders or mine it (ore mining is available).

Resources can be sold for credits, they will also be needed for crafting modules and ships (the system will be added in the future).

Each resource has its own cost and volume, which it take in the hold of the ship. Some resources, such as ore, require a lot of space, and it is quite low cost, so it’s better to take a large ship with a large capacity.

Some locations produce their own product, which can be bought at a low price and sold where this product is in de-mand at a higher price. For example, the trade route Alpha Centauri -> Proxima
Also, note that some merchants do not buy certain goods (for example, a farmer does not need ammunition, he needs water and fertilizers).
What are your ideas on the trading system?
