WSS opened with an unorthodox move—throwing open the gates and sending Cavalry out for early disruption. It worked. The pace of MS’s assault was slowed, forcing the first major clash to happen at the right-side breach.
But MS overlooked WSS’s artillery crew stationed deep behind. Though MS made some progress through the breach, they lacked the tools to suppress the Lionroar Crew. Under constant bombardment, their first wave was repelled, with significant troop losses.
MS regrouped for a second push at the same breach, but WSS was ready. With a reinforced lineup and explosive fire, they drove MS back once again. Then, capitalizing on the advantage, WSS sent Cavalry out for a final sweep—denying any further attempt. WSS held the line and claimed the defensive win. Game 2 – City Siege: WSS Attacks, MS Defends
MS concentrated heavily around Point A. WSS launched a coordinated push from the right ladders directly onto the point. Though MS had the artillery advantage, they were quickly neutralized—WSS targeted them before they could even begin suppressing fire.
WSS didn’t stop there. As they captured A, a split squad flanked the rear Supply Point, stretching MS’s supply lines dangerously thin. With A lost and no secure resupply, MS withdrew to the Base Camp.
There, MS tried to counter by attacking WSS’s forward Supply, but WSS was already circling to the right, aiming for the heart. With tight formations and superior mobility, WSS broke through the Base Camp and secured a clean 2-0 victory.

WLD took a high-risk strategy, abandoning the outer defense and opting to bunker down at the Base Camp. DOGS responded with a pincer approach—splitting forces across both staircases. A small detachment baited defenders near the main gate and right staircase, while the bulk of their troops surged up the left stairs, where terrain favored the attackers.
With Trebuchets providing consistent pressure and room to breathe, DOGS expanded their foothold. After one well-coordinated Cavalry charge, WLD’s scattered defenders were wiped out. DOGS stormed the Base Camp and claimed Game 1. Game 2 – Sides Swapped: WLD Attacks, DOGS Defends
DOGS immediately focused on denying Siege Towers, using counter-Artillery and constant harassment to stall WLD's advance. WLD adapted—abandoning the towers and focusing their offensive on the main gate instead.
But DOGS had already set up dual artillery squads. The double-barreled firepower crushed WLD’s first gate push and forced a reset. The siege turned into a back-and-forth of tower pushes and tower denials—but time was not on WLD’s side.
Sticking to their ironclad “no towers on the wall” strategy, DOGS, supported by constant Cavalry raids beyond the walls, successfully held Point A and secured another 2-0 sweep.

DL made a questionable call—choosing to defend Point A directly on the wall. AYBS capitalized immediately. With well-placed Trebuchets and a balanced unit composition, they wiped out the wall defenders in the opening clash.
Spotting the window, AYBS launched a dual push on Point B while DL’s fallen Heroes were still waiting for respawn. The match was quickly driven to the Base Camp phase. But in the final fight, AYBS overextended and left a back route exposed. DL’s Cavalry exploited it perfectly, slipping through and striking the backline. AYBS was caught off-guard. DL seized the opportunity and took Game 1.
Game 2 – Sides Swapped: DL Attacks, AYBS Defends
During the siege phase, DL’s dual artillery crew effectively denied tower progress. AYBS responded by pushing directly through the gate. DL, however, adapted well. Taking advantage of the terrain and persistent burn damage from Siphonarioi, they combined frontal pressure with flank Cavalry strikes to repel the assault.
DL then shifted tactics—securing their Supply Line while cutting AYBS off from theirs. Even with a slight troop deficit, DL controlled the tempo and pressure points. In the end, AYBS couldn’t hold B, and DL closed out the match with a 2-0 win.

Though RJ's tower denial wasn’t perfect at the start, FOW didn’t go for a typical wall fight. Instead, they executed a surprise midgate assault, fanning out onto the wall after breaching the center gate.
But RJ was ready. With healing archers sustaining the front line and a formidable wall of heavy infantry, they crushed FOW’s first wave. FOW regrouped and tried again with a similar strategy, but RJ’s formation held strong.
All the while, FOW had yet to unleash their Trebuchets. It didn’t matter—RJ comfortably defended and took Game 1.
Game 2 – Sides Swapped: RJ Attacks, FOW Defends
FOW left Point A open. RJ seized the opportunity, charging forward with a clean troop composition. While a small team of heroes split off to secure Point B, RJ’s main force pushed through the right flank toward the Base Camp’s front Supply Point.
FOW scrambled to respond, falling back to set up defense at the Base. But RJ struck fast and wide—sending flanking troops through the rear and right-side passage.
With well-timed reinforcements and perfect pressure, RJ overwhelmed the defenders inside the Base and secured a decisive 2-0 victory.

CBL2025 – April 27 | AMS Group Stage Match 1: WARR vs ZOD Game 1 – City Siege: ZOD Attacks, WARR Defends
WARR made a critical error early—pushing their frontline forward while ZOD's Siphonarioi and Lionroar Crew were still active. Without proper shielding, their tank units were shredded in moments. What followed was a collapse.
ZOD seized the opportunity, sweeping into Point A. In the Base Camp showdown, WARR’s Siphonarioi misfired—key skills were wasted before direct contact, leaving them vulnerable. ZOD’s Cavalry struck from behind, breaking WARR’s formation and causing troops losses to spike over 400. ZOD capitalized on the chaos and claimed the first victory.
Game 2 – Sides Swapped: WARR Attacks, ZOD Defends
This time, WARR went for a bold flank. Skipping the main gate, they maneuvered around the right of Point A and captured high ground. At the same time, another squad took the left Supply Point, cutting ZOD’s reinforcements.
Though WARR suffered a troop deficit, the pressure forced ZOD to fall back to Base. Surprisingly, ZOD did not defend the Base entrance—instead stacking troops at the upper tier. WARR took advantage of the opening, pushing through the right lane and deploying formations at the Base gate.
With overlapping Trebuchet coverage and coordinated Unit pressure, WARR pulled off a comeback win to even the series.
Game 3 – Field Battle: Decider
WARR secured the first two points and went aggressive on ZOD’s force at Point B. But ZOD remained composed. They faked pressure at Point A, baiting WARR’s rotation, then swung back to recapture B.
As B fell, ZOD unlocked Base capture rights and sent a stealth Dual-Blade Hero deep behind enemy lines—solo-capping the Base Point while WARR’s forces were still repositioning. The play sealed the game.

WM opened with a two-lane assault, pushing Siege Towers through the left and center. But RAT had their artillery crew dialed in, unleashing punishing volleys at the narrow approach routes, stalling WM before they could scale the walls.
Shifting plans, WM attempted a frontal push through the main gate—but split their forces too thin. RAT struck hard, slicing through the divided offense and isolating troops one by one. The gap in troop count widened, and WM was never able to recover.
Despite all efforts, they couldn’t break RAT’s defensive formation. RAT held strong and claimed Game 1.
Game 2 – Sides Swapped: RAT Attacks, WM Defends
RAT focused their attack around the left Supply Point, aiming to collapse Point B. WM tried to set up a pincer response—but their flanking routes backfired. While circling through the central road, WM got caught mid-rotation by RAT’s forward surge.
The result: another split-force breakdown. RAT exploited the window perfectly, charging straight for the Base. While WM tried to reroute through the right lane, RAT's positioning advantage left no room for recovery.
RAT secured the Base Camp and closed the series 2-0.

CBL2025 – April 27 | APAC Group Stage Match 1: NBY vs KIBA Game 1 – Hidden City Siege: NBY Attacks, KIBA Defends
The match kicked off looking like a routine push—NBY advanced Siege Towers steadily, while KIBA split their forces across the left route, right route, and main gate for defense. But tactics are ever-changing. Suddenly, all of NBY’s Heroes converged at the central gate, smashing it down in a flash. A flood of red-side troops stormed in before KIBA could react—the center defenders collapsed instantly.
Just as KIBA's side route forces moved to counter, NBY shifted and overwhelmed the left-side defenders as well, securing Point A. With heavy casualties and many waiting to respawn, KIBA made the tough call to abandon Point B and bunker down at the Base Camp. Backed by 10 Trebuchets and 27 Artillery pieces, NBY launched a relentless bombardment. KIBA held on for a time, but was eventually overwhelmed. NBY claimed Game 1.
Game 2 – Hidden City: KIBA Attacks, NBY Defends
It was a textbook trap. NBY anticipated KIBA’s every move and deployed a perfectly orchestrated defense. They quickly set up 15 Culverins on the city wall—not targeting the Siege Towers, but instead focusing fire on Trebuchets. By the time KIBA realized the trap, only one Trebuchet remained.
With Trebuchet support nearly gone, KIBA had no choice but to attempt a direct assault on Point A. NBY limited access to the walls with only one remaining Siege Tower. Forced into a funnel, KIBA’s troops charged straight into a death trap. Wiped out with no path forward, time ran out. Game over—NBY took a clean 2-0 victory.

The moment the battle began, PAE unleashed a thunderstorm of firepower. Their Culverins blasted away at MANU’s Siege Towers, swiftly wiping out the first wave of siege pressure. Sensing trouble, MANU called for a midlane charge—but PAE had already prepared. A brutal crossfire awaited them, and after a bloody clash, MANU was driven from the gate.
With no choice but to return to tower pushing, MANU tried again—but their Siege Towers were once again destroyed under PAE's relentless Culverin barrage. With the timer ticking down, MANU made a final desperate call: ladder rush for Point A!
They split their forces to scale both sides simultaneously, but PAE had predicted this move from the start. The trap was already set. Without suspense, PAE shut it down cold. Game 1 to PAE.
Game 2 – Dasuo: PAE Attacks, MANU Defends
MANU tried to return the favor. They quickly formed a Culverin battery and unleashed fire on PAE’s Siege Towers—but poor coordination left them ineffective. PAE only lost one tower and managed to get on the walls with ease.
MANU gave up Point A and fell back to the second line. They deployed their forces across Point B, Point C, and the C Supply Point, preparing for a drawn-out defense. Two squads of Hwarang and artillery units were positioned for sustained skirmishes. But PAE had no interest in splitting their push—they went all-in on C Supply.
MANU’s spread-out defense and lack of frontline troops left them unable to resist the full brunt of the attack. Reinforcements arrived too late and only fed into the grinder. With C and B falling in quick succession, PAE pushed hard with Dagger-Axe Lancers under Trebuchet cover, breaking through to the Base Camp and finishing the game in dominating fashion.

VNC opened the match with a full-force assault on the City, aiming to break through early. But FGGG had clearly anticipated this and stacked defenses at the chokepoint. As VNC pushed forward, FGGG unleashed their Cavalry in a full-field counterstrike, sandwiching the attackers. City gate defenders quickly joined in, forcing VNC to retreat. FGGG, wary of return fire from trebuchets, also pulled back. Round one ended in a tense standoff.
VNC, as a veteran team, regrouped fast and shifted their focus to Point A. With minimal resistance, they took it cleanly. FGGG fortified around Point C, clearly intending to make a stand. VNC faked a push toward C, then rapidly rotated toward the Supply Point—but FGGG’s reaction speed was insane. They snapped back just in time and, aided by Siphonarioi, shattered the offensive. Round two—denied.
FGGG then pushed forward, drawing the frontline to the outer gate. With dwindling manpower after two failed attempts, VNC launched one last assault. Weakened by previous skirmishes, their Infantry fell under the thunderous fire of the Lionroar Crew. In a final act of defiance, VNC’s Cavalry charged the breach—but waiting for them, ready and unwavering, stood the Sunward Phalanx. Game 1 to FGGG.
Game 2 – Wall Fort: FGGG Attacks, VNC Defends
VNC made a puzzling call—not defending Points A or B. FGGG breached the wall and secured both objectives unopposed. They regrouped to strike deeper. Anticipating a push on the Supply Point, VNC stacked it with heavy defense, waiting for the clash.
But FGGG changed course in an instant, surging toward Point C. By the time VNC realized, it was too late. FGGG’s Lionroar Crew had already taken aim at the Supply Point. The defending Units ran headfirst into a barrage—most didn’t make it out.
After securing Point C, FGGG pushed toward the Base Camp. Hoping for a fast finish, they overextended. VNC launched a surprise Cavalry strike from C Supply Point, cutting through the rear of the assault. Without support from their Sunward Phalanx, FGGG’s forward Troops were trapped and crushed between revived defenders and a flanking strike.
But FGGG adapted quickly. Regrouping with superior coordination, trubuchet power, and remaining troops, they broke VNC’s defense at the Base Camp's Supply Point and eliminated the last resistance. Victory to FGGG!

CBL2025 – April 27 | APAC Group Stage Match 4: VNH vs MMMD Game 1 – Heilung Fjord Siege: VNH Attacks, MMMD Defends
VNH opened aggressively, splitting forces for a dual assault on Points A and B. MMMD initially intended to use Culverins to destroy VNH's Trebuchets, but their frontline was too lightly defended. VNH broke through both A and B with speed and seized the momentum.
MMMD quickly regrouped around Point C, halting the advance with a fierce stand. VNH, slowed but not stopped, turned toward the Harbour Supply Point. Once secured, they used it as a forward base. Under sustained pressure from Trebuchets and disciplined formations, they began to grind down MMMD’s defenses. Step by step, VNH marched forward and claimed victory.
Game 2 – Heilung Fjord: MMMD Attacks, VNH Defends
MMMD launched their assault focused entirely on Point A, sending a small Militia squad to feint at Point B. VNH, however, spread their forces thin across A, B, and the wall—an error.
MMMD charged with Infantry and Cavalry in tandem, smashing through Point A’s defenses. By the time support from B and the walls arrived, it was too late. MMMD had taken all three points—A, B, and C—and VNH fell back to defend C Supply.
But MMMD chose not to go the usual route. They flanked through the left alleyway into the Base Camp. Though VNH managed a gritty defense at first, they lost C Supply in the process. As MMMD launched their final push, VNH’s strength was spent. The result: a decisive MMMD win. The series went to a tiebreaker.
Game 3 – Grasslands Field Battle: Decider
MMMD split into three squads, launching a direct attack on VNH’s Point A while lightly contesting B and C. VNH played it safe, opening with a traditional setup—main force on B, lighter forces to A and C.
Realizing MMMD’s intent, VNH redirected reinforcements to Point A. But B had already fallen, and C followed shortly after. The battle for A became a deadlock. Meanwhile, an MMMD Poleaxe Hero slipped past and stepped onto VNH’s Base Camp, dealing a critical blow to morale.
The fight swung to Point B. VNH slowly turned the tide, securing A and B with strong positioning and counter-pressure. MMMD's stamina waned; their Unit count fell behind.
VNH then turned the screws at Point C, applying constant pressure. As MMMD overcommitted to defend C, VNH launched a strike at the now-exposed Base Camp—seizing it for the comeback win.
VNH takes the series 2-1 !
