Hey everyone!

Now we have over 100 units in the game. It brings more strategies in the game, but also makes some units not on-trend those days. A possible reason for this is that the skills of those are no longer unique and we can make better plans without those. Also, the iterating patches make those just behind the meta.

We've rolled out plenty of balance changes in the past year, and this has brought the underused Halberdier Sergeants and Dagger-Axe Lancers into an overall more comfortable place. Naturally, this is but a drop in the ocean as there are still plenty of underused units that gather dust.

We've therefore been looking for a new way to resolve this. Hopefully, this new way will help resolve this issue and give you all something new to work toward as well.

[h2]Unit Mastery[/h2]

We'll be releasing our latest Unit Mastery system in a June update.
Now, let's delve deeper into what mastery brings, how to unlock it and how it becomes available.
What is Mastery?

Unit mastery is a brand-new unit growth system available alongside what's already there. A unit's mastery gradually unlocks as you level it up, enabling you to increase its attributes and alter its skills or mechanics. This system will bring new possibilities for all units, and who knows, Silver Era units with high mastery might even be able to stand their own against units of the Heroic Era.

[h3]Unlocking Mastery[/h3]
First, if you select a unit you've unlocked for which mastery is available, you'll be met with a menu like this.

A unit's mastery unlocks in stages based on its level. The items you need to unlock mastery can be found daily in specific PVE content and the Honor Shop (we'll describe this feature in greater detail at a later time). There are daily and monthly caps in place for each of the two acquisition methods. By completing the specific PVE content daily, you'll be able to unlock mastery for 1-3 units a month based on the level of that unit. Choose to train your favorite units further, and empower them so that currently underperforming units can stand their own in battle.

[h3]How Mastery Becomes Available[/h3]

Initially, mastery will be available for tiers 2-4 units, and we'll be adding mastery for around 5 units each month. We'll most likely spread mastery evenly among the three unit tiers. We'll be announcing which units will be the first to get mastery in a few days!

What's more, to reduce the attribute difference between older units and newer and seasonal units, we'll be raising the level cap of tier 2 and 3 units in the Unit Tree and Season Challenges to level 18, and that of tier 4 units to level 24.


[h2]Promotions[/h2]

With promotions we enabled some units to be promoted into new units. However, based on feedback from the Legacy of Fire and Snowstorm seasons, as well as our own observations, the promotion system is difficult to understand and just doesn't feel very great overall. And so, we'll discontinue adding new promotions.

We've kept an eye on promotions throughout the seasons, and have come to the conclusion that they don't fit Conqueror's Blade. We'll therefore be removing promotions with the June update, and simultaneously changing how promoted units are acquired.
[h3]Units affected by this:[/h3]
○Symmachean Stalwarts
○Symmachean Paladins
○Alp Halberdiers
○Armiger Lancers
○Liao's Rangers

We'll be making the following changes to the affected units:
○You will now be able to create these units directly without relying on the base unit.
○As for their season challenges, the first Unlock Order reward to create the base unit remains unchanged. Later rewards to promote said unit will however be replaced with rewards that enable you to unlock the other unit too. So, by completing the quests you won't have to promote the unit but get it directly.
○Promoted units and their original version can be used together.

Note: With the removal of unit promotions, these units must now be created individually and will therefore not gain any of the original unit's levels. If you're planning on promoting a max-level base unit to get a high-level promoted unit, we advise you to do that before the update launches.

Greetings Warlords!

There have been some dissonant noises and some violations of the game's rules in the game recently. Some players have used hack on the battlefield. Some have used farm bot to level up quickly, and some have spread inappropriate words in the game. It all affects the environment of our entire Conqueror's Blade community.

We want all generals can enjoy the pure joy that the combat brings and will have the best gaming experience without disturbed by any violation.

Therefore, we'd like to take this chance to remind you all: we have recently noticed a big increase in accounts being flagged for using hacks, as well as websites selling accounts and phishing software. Do not try to use any of these simply due to curiosity, as doing so may lead to financial losses, and is highly likely to compromise your account's security. Any usage of cheating software will lead to your account being banned.

We will continue to monitor the gaming status of the above players, and if the same violations occur again, they will be subject to more severe penalties.

In order to create a healthy environment for the community, and better everyone's gaming experience, the Conqueror's Blade Operations Team will be unwavering in our fight against hack or farm bot. We won't let slide any uncivilized language in any channel. Warlords are welcome to report any of the above game violations to us. Meanwhile, some issues or exceptions in game might be caused by bugs or an unstable network. If you are uncertain if someone is cheating, you can send us a message to our report e-mail. Once we've verified the situation, we'll deal with them appropriately, and punish them severely should they be using hacks.

'Eternal' Season Server Transfer Info

'Eternal' season is about to end and a new season begins. And so, we will be making character transfers available for Warlords on Lotus Ash Sea, Dragonrise Island, Jaderock Creek, Sandstorm Gorge, and Espada Forest.

[h2]Server Transfer Time:[/h2]

1. We estimate that registration for server transfers will begin on May 11th, after maintenance, and run through May 24th, 23:59 (UTC+8), 2023.
2. Character transfers will be performed during the new season's maintenance.

[h2]Server Scope[/h2]

Players may transfer between the Lotus Ash Sea, Dragonrise Island, Jaderock Creek, Sandstorm Gorge, and Espada Forest servers.

It will cost 600 Sovereigns to transfer between servers.

[h2]Transfer Restrictions[/h2]

1. There will be a limit on the number of characters that can be transferred to and from the various servers, after which server transfers will no longer be available:
2. Players may transfer without restrictions between the Lotus Ash Sea, Dragonrise Island, Jaderock Creek, Sandstorm Gorge and Espada Forest servers.

Once a server's quota has been used up, no further transfers will be available, so be sure to register your transfer as soon as possible if you wish to undergo one.

[h2]How to Transfer[/h2]

Log in to the character you wish to transfer, press ESC and select Account Services -> Character Transfer to access the Character Transfer menu. Then select the server you wish to transfer to, and confirm your choice. Doing so will deduct the Sovereign fee from your account and your character will be tagged with 'Pending Transfer'. Your character will then be transferred following the new season's maintenance.

[h2]Important:[/h2]

1. After having submitted an application to transfer servers, you may cancel this at any time before May 24th, 23:59 (UTC+8). Upon canceling a transfer your Sovereigns will be returned to you (only applicable to this server transfer event). Though, upon canceling a transfer you will not be able to apply for a new one for a period of 24 hours.

2. Characters pending transfer cannot be deleted. Should the character transfer not succeed, the cost will be returned to you.

3.You must leave your house (Imperial Restorationists or Free House) when requesting a server transfer. You may not join a new house while your server transfer is pending.

4. You can still play on your character as per usual while a transfer is pending.

5. Upon successful server transfer, the character's friends list and blacklist will be cleared. Upon logging in to the new server, you will once again have to choose a region.

6. The following items and resources may be brought during the transfer:
1) Only items and resources in your Inventory, Supply Dump, Wagon, and Resource Piles will be brought.
2) Items and resources already listed with the Auctioneers cannot be brought. Be sure to retrieve all of these before transferring servers so as not to lose anything.
3) Mail and their attachments will be transferred to the new server.

7. Duplicate Names:
Should a character with the same name as yours exist on the server you transfer to, a string of digits will be added to your name.
On the day of the server transfer we will then issue you a New Identity Document x1.

8. Extra Info:
A character may be unable to log in to the target server if that server has login restrictions. Please ensure that you can log in to a server before transferring a character.

Hello warlords,

We will update the game during our maintenance on May 11, which will last for 3 hours and run between 12:30-15:30 (UTC+8). After the maintenance we will give all players 8,000 Bronze Coins, 300 Honor, and 15 Unit Medals as compensation for any inconvenience caused. Be sure to arrange your time accordingly.
