A New Era of Conquest:Territory Wars Reforged!

Greetings warlords!
Remember the promise we made during the livestream? To stay active, never stop improving, and always keep iterating? Well, we're holding true to our word. The upcoming season, launching on September 19th, heralds a new era for Conqueror's Blade, inspired by none other than Gustav II Adolf, the "Father of Modern Warfare" himself. Just as he revolutionized 17th-century warfare, we're about to unleash a wave of updates and reforms that will reshape the very foundation of Territory Wars.

Conquering the Past, Building the Future
The Open World and its Territory Wars have witnessed the rise and fall of countless warlords and Houses. It's a core part of the Conqueror's Blade experience, and now it's time for a major evolution. Our goal is clear: to deliver a more enjoyable and engaging Territory War experience for all warlords through impactful content updates and strategic rule adjustments.

No More Slot Blocking: Taking Action Now!
Earlier this month, we addressed the elephant in the room – the long-standing frustration with "Slot Blocking." Your feedback on the proposed adjustments was heard loud and clear, and we're happy to confirm that these changes will be officially implemented in the new season of Territory Wars.

This is just the beginning. We're committed to open communication and taking decisive action on the issues that matter most to you. Expect ongoing adjustments, optimizations, and a constant drive to create a better gaming environment for everyone. Keep that feedback coming!

The King is Present, His Spirit Inspires!
Gustav II Adolf wasn't just a military genius; he was the "Lion of the North", a fearless leader who inspired his troops to achieve the unthinkable. From securing his throne at the age of 17 to facing down the might of the Holy Roman Empire, his victories echoed across Europe. And while his star may have fallen too soon at the Battle of Lützen, his legacy of tactical brilliance and unwavering courage lives on.

This legacy is at the heart of the new Territory War battlefield rule: King of the Battlefield!

Here's how it works: For Houses:
  • Lead the Charge: When a House Leader enters a Territory War battle, they'll be marked for all to see. Their presence will inspire all warlords and units from their House on the battlefield, granting them the "King of the Battlefield" buff. This buff increases damage against enemy units, scaling with the House level up to a mighty 10%.

  • Avenge the Fallen: Should a House Leader fall in battle, their sacrifice will not be in vain. An announcement will ring out across the battlefield, and the "King of the Battlefield" buff will transform into the even more potent "Glory and Vengeance" buff. This enhanced buff doubles the damage increase, also scaling with the House level up to a devastating 20%!

The inspiration for this "Damage Buff upon House Leader's Death" mechanic comes directly from the Battle of Lützen, where the Swedish army, fueled by the rallying cry of "Avenge the King!", turned the tide and achieved a hard-fought victory.

We know what you're thinking, House Leaders – "Time to become a glorious, buff-granting sacrifice!" And you know what? We wouldn't have it any other way.

For Cohorts:
  • Strength in Unity: When a Cohort Commander enters a Territory War battle, they too will be marked, inspiring their comrades. All warlords and units from their Cohort on the battlefield will receive the "King of the Battlefield" buff, increasing their damage against enemy units by a solid 10%.

  • Fight to the Last: If a Cohort Leader falls, their Cohort will lose the "King of the Battlefield" buff. But the fight is far from over!

Gustav's Legacy: Fueling the War Machine
Gustav II Adolf's Sweden was a nation forged in iron and driven by innovation. Their abundant copper and iron ore resources fueled a military industrial complex that was ahead of its time. To reflect this, Season 20 brings the following changes:
  • Resource Boom: The reserves and production rate of all Copper and Iron Ore in the Dasuo region will be increased by 20% and 10% respectively.

  • Artillery Primed: The crafting material cost of Field Artillery and Mortars will be reduced by 20%.

  • Mobile Artillery: The Open World movement speed when carrying both a Field Artillery and a Mortar will be increased from 2.8 to 3.5.

An Army Marches on Its Stomach: Logistics Redefined
You may have heard whispers of "supply lines" and "supply depots" from our developers in recent livestreams. Well, those whispers are about to become a reality. Logistics have always been the backbone of any successful military campaign, and Gustav II Adolf knew this better than most. That's why Supply Line Rules and Supply Depots are coming to Territory Wars in a major way.
We'll be diving deep into the specifics of these mechanics soon, but for now, just know this: Supply Lines and Supply Depots will add a whole new layer of strategic depth and decision-making to Territory Wars. Keep an eye out for their arrival in the Open World within the next month!

This is Just the Beginning
These changes represent a bold step forward for Territory Wars, inspired by the strategic genius of Gustav II Adolf. But this is just the beginning. We're committed to continuous improvement, to listening to your feedback, and to making Conqueror's Blade the best it can be.

Get ready, Warlords. The battlefield is about to change forever.

LIONFIRE - New Season Starts Now

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
1. Season Units
T3 Reitar Pistoleers

Background Story:
• During the brutal thirty-year war, a gunpowder revolution took root. Knights from the Rhineland region shed their heavy armor, retaining only essential defenses, abandoning their lances in favor of matchlock guns for combat. Employing a stately caracole tactic, they relied more on firearm than charges. However, Gustav II Adolf took a different approach. He instructed his Rhineland cuirassiers to forsake the tactic and the cumbersome long muskets, opting instead to engage fearlessly with short ones at close range before unsheathing their swords to charge.
"The cuirassiers of Rilmore do not open fire until they see the whites of their enemy's eyes." Such were the words of a general who witnessed firsthand these cuirassiers firing at point-blank range, then drawing their cavalry swords to ruthlessly cut down their mechanically advancing enemies who adhered to the caracole tactic. Amidst the chaos of war, where the desperate seek life, this unit seemed to resurrect the fearless charging stance on the battlefield, a century after the fully armored knights had succumbed to gunpowder defeat.
Battle Tactics:
• Although the cuirassier is few in number, they are well-equipped. Each soldier is armed with a pair of improved short muskets and a knight sword, with armor that does not hinder shooting or close combat for protection. As the mainstay of the Gustavian military reforms, the cuirassiers differ from conventional heavy cavalry and dragoon musketeers. They utilize their mobility and advanced pistols to harass enemy formations, swiftly piercing through enemy lines like lightning at the opportune moment, unleashing specialized bullets and expert swordsmanship upon their foes. Much like a lion tearing into its prey, they instill fear and dread in the enemy ranks.
Unit Traits:
• Carrying a pair of improved pistols, they can freely and flexibly shoot, and use special bullets to deal burst damage.

  • Close-range shooting could be highly destructive and has a controlling effect on target units.
Skill Design:
• Skill 1: Roar of Powder (Utilize special bullets to shoot a powerful round at the target.)

  • Skill 2: Tearing Strike (Utilize the knight sword for several fierce thrusts at close range.)
T4 Swinefeathers

Background Story:
• In the long years of war, if one were to ask which kind of people were most common, the answer would undoubtedly be the mercenaries who traversed between various factions. These seasoned arquebusiers never fought for honor; rather, they viewed chaos as a ladder, aiming to seize fame in the midst of conflict. The northern nation, with its small territory and a population fewer than the Rhineland states, found itself in greater need of their strength to partake in this grand war. Interestingly, these fickle mercenaries ended up staying within the army of the Northern Lion, even becoming the backbone of the military. In their own words: "
"We can smell victory here." Gustav II Adolf devised new tactics for these experienced veterans. Utilizing rapid maneuvers and shooting, their great gunpower can overwhelm enemies many times their number. When cavalry charged like a torrent, they would counter with their swinefeather spears, sending the enemy straight to hell. These veterans, who had brushed shoulders with death countless times, were adept at handling any situation on the battlefield.
"You lads, stick with me! There may be plenty of kings in this world, but there's only one who knows how to fight."" — Mercenary leader, Monroe.
Battle Tactics:
• They are composed of British mercenaries recruited by Sweden, capable of repelling enemies with portable anti-horse stakes and inflicting significant casualties on the enemy using modern volley fire techniques. They maintain strict military discipline, possess exquisite skills, and fully utilize the Gustavian formation's tactic of firing in lines. The portable pigtail gun stock they carry provides significant assistance for their precise shooting. Moreover, when they insert the gun stock into the ground, forming variously shaped anti-horse stakes, the strategic value is self-evident, forcing would-be aggressors to disarm and surrender.
Unit Traits:
• Having relatively short attack range but powerful burst damage, strict military discipline, and exquisite skills.

  • Having a gunstock provides higher accuracy, but when the gunstock is inserted into the ground, it generates Cheval de Frise sufficient to deter enemies.
Skill Design:
• Skill 1: Attack Area (continuous shooting into a designated area)

  • Skill 2: Triple Shooting (Six column formation instantly transforms into three columns, then opens fire simultaneously, providing powerful firepower suppression to the target area.)

  • Skill 3: Cheval de Frise (insert the butt into the ground within a certain range to form a strong Cheval de Frise)
T5 Lionroar Crew

Background Story:
• During the era of wars, cannons were commonly used by all nations. However, among the military leaders, it was only Gustav II Adolf who saw cannons as the core of revolutionizing warfare in that age. He handpicked the best of his country's officers and formed a dedicated artillery unit. The establishment of an independent artillery unit was an unprecedented initiative. During that time, military commanders of various countries often viewed cannons as cumbersome heavy artillery, which lack mobility. However, the king believed that by modifying the cannons themselves to overcome their mobility issues, cannons would become the decisive weapons of the next era's battlefield. He shortened the cannon barrels, lightened the carriages, and standardized the production of cannon parts. Consequently, that northern nation's artillery units could deploy and move cannons at any time and place. The excellent battlefield judgment and combat determination of artillery officers also made this unit a undefeatable force in Western world of that time.

  • Those who surpass are always blessed by the era. This unit, along with their king, became legends of that era, with their cannon fire described by poets as the "roar of a lion," shaking their enemies.
Battle Tactics:
After setting up the artillery at the appropriate location, push it to the front line; while using the pistol to guard against enemy sneak attacks, pour high-density shotgun shells at the enemy.
Unit Traits:
Set up a powerful cannon, with fifteen soldiers divided into three artillery teams, launching dense and numerous shotgun shells to saturate the enemy with firepower.
Skill Design:
Skill 1:

  • Set Up Artillery (Set up the artillery at the designated location)

  • Move Artillery (Move the artillery to the designated location)

Skill 2:

  • Attack Area (Immediately fire at the designated location)

Skill 3:

  • Defensive Shooting (Shoot the nearest enemy with a pistol)

  • The character level required for opening the family system is lowered to 12
11. UIUX Interaction

  1. UIUX iteration:

    1. We will gradually upgrade the style and interaction of UI from this season. The new UI style will be more modern and concise. We will upgrade and optimize the interaction of some complex systems

Weakening the item grade colors in the hero, unit, and camp interface, removing some complex shades, and reducing the saturation of overly eye-catching color blocks, leaving the focus to the hero and the unit themselves, making the UI more modern

Full-screen motion graphics design for unlocking and building corps is more in line with the design notion of modern games

The grade color of items in the inventory has been weakened, and the icon style of each tab has been simplified

Amplified the map in the battle preparation interface, simplify the more complex icons, arrange the layout more reasonably, integrate player information, and add a function of contraction, making the entire interface more concise and clearer

The TAB interface in the game will have a unified level color and simplified icon design, and the map edges will be transparent,

  1. Function:

    1. Added a one-click equipment replenishment function button on the camp homepage, and added an item filter for equipment replenishment

    2. Optimized the continuity of UI animation for longbow basic attack charging
12. BUG Repair
