A vast world, but every inch matters| Territory War Adjustment Plan


Greetings Warlords,
 
The theme of the coming new season is [Gustav II Adolf], the father of modern warfare. We hope to emulate Gustavus Adolf and bring about true change and reform in CB.
 
As CB moves towards global operations, we also hope to bring a better CB world to warlords. We promise all warlords that there will be adjustments to the rules of TW with each new season, new events will be introduced every season; and a new weapon will be added every year, etc. This belief of [taking action] will be carried through every update of CB. In summary, our four major guidelines for innovation are:
 

  • Tactics: New heroes and units. A new weapon every year

  • Battlefield: New event maps for each season

  • War: Constant changes to TW rules every season

  • Situation: More global ecology and interconnected actions

 
As for war, which is related to the open world and territory war, it is one of the core gameplay elements of CB. From the initial The southern border and northern towns to the Conqueror's City in the Alexander season, countless warlords have been fighting in the open world. Every city, fort, and village in each region has witnessed numerous similar stories – They are the stories of all the warlords. For the reform of territory war, we hope that with each season's content updates and rule adjustments, warlords can have a different territory war experience:
 

  • Territory war Mechanism: We will try to introduce unique mechanisms related to the season's theme into the territory battlefields, bringing more variables to the course of the battle and allowing warlords to experience more interesting gameplay.

  • Open World Strategic Competition: We will work towards making the strategy more abundant and the competition deeper, building upon it season by season.

  • Seasonal Resource Rules: We will also adjust the basic content, such as the open world resource output, in line with each season's theme. By doing so, we aim to connect the open world with the seasons.

 
In fact, the reform of territory war needs to be very cautious, as every change in the rules has far-reaching consequences.
 
Therefore, as the first step in taking action, we will start by addressing some of the long-standing issues in territory war that have been troubling warlords. We will begin making some adjustments and tests from this week, and we hope that during the truce in open world, warlords can also help with testing and let's work together to improve the gameplay of open world.
 

  1. [h2]Raise the requirement for opening and maintaining front (The following changes have already been implemented in the update maintenance on September 5)[/h2]

 

  • The number of players required to open a territory front

  • During the territory war, when interacting with the fief in open world to open a front, the attacking side needs to have a queue of players that meets the fief's requirement for front to open. If the attacking side does not meet the required number of players to open the front, all participating attacking players will enter the siege queue and wait for the front to open.

  • The number of players required to open a front is determined by the type of front, as follows:

    • Village, Field Camp, and Ruler's Flag: 1 attacking player can open the front

    • City and Fort: 5 attacking players can open the front

    • Region's capital, Gate of Conqueror's City, and Conqueror's City: 8 attacking players can open the front

     

  • Rules for the morale of the attacking side in territory war

 

  • After the front is opened, the attacking side will have a morale value, initially set at 100%. When the morale value reaches 0, the attacking side is considered defeated, and the defending side wins.

  • When the number of attacking players in a stage does not meet the requirements for opening a front, the morale value will decrease at a steady rate of 1% per second. When the attacking side has enough players, the morale value will stop decreasing and remain unchanged.

    • For example: In a battle for a city in open world, if there are only 3 attacking players left on the battlefield, the morale value of the attacking side will decrease according to the rules.

    • It should be noted that if there are no attacking warlords on the battlefield in a battle for a village in open world, the morale value of the attacking side will still decrease according to the rules.

  • Morale value will not recover during a single battle.

 

  1. [h2]Reporting mechanism for "Slotblocking" in territory war[/h2]

 
The "blocking front" in territory war has long been a issue for warlords. Some families have taken advantage of loopholes in the rules for opening and maintaining fronts to gain unfair advantages in territory war. We hereby clarify that "Slotblocking" is a serious violation of the rules in territory war.
 
On the basis of raising the front requirements, we will also introduce a reporting mechanism for warlords. We hope that all warlords will join us in supervising the healthy ecosystem of the entire territory war. In cases where there is solid evidence, we will impose strict penalties on individuals, families, and alliances that engage in "Slotblocking". We will soon launch specific reporting measures, channels, and evidence verification methods and announce them as soon as possible.
 
Of course, maintaining a healthy game ecosystem cannot be achieved solely through rules. It also requires the participation of all warlords in improving these rules. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please feel free to share them with us. We are very eager to communicate with you.
"Take action" is an important concept during the Gustav reform in CB. We encourage all warlords to speak their minds and participate actively. Let's work together to build the "best wargame in the world"!
 

Gather to the Beacon


Greetings, warlords!
 
We are truly grateful for your support towards Conqueror's Blade over the years! Now, the new chapter of global operations in the game is unfolding, with many warlords who once left the battlefield returning to fight again.
 
To help these returning warlords quickly regain their power and allow new comiong warlords to develop their power swiftly, the Auctioneers has launched a new event named [Gather to Beacon], packed with a lot rewards, eagerly awaiting your return!
 
Initiate or respond recruitment can both receive a wealth of rewards, and you can even get a 5-star Season Unit Selection Box!
 
Recruitment

During the event, warlords can recruit through the event page. When the respondent completes the corresponding quests in the game, the recruiter can obtain [Beacon Points].
 
Once the recruiter meets the requirements for the [Beacon Points] stage reward, the reward will be sent to the character's in-game mailbox. The email is valid for 30 days from the date of receipt, so please check it promptly. After the event ends on October 8, 2024, 00:00 (UTC+8), all rewards on this event page will no longer be claimable.
[Beacon Points] stage rewards include Pure Spirit, Divine Crow, Epic Hero Schematic Crate.

[h2]Accept Recruitment[/h2]
After the event starts, warlords who are successfully recruited will receive a [Beacon Decree], which will be sent to the character associated with the event via the in-game mailbox. Upon activating the [Beacon Decree], players will receive different quests based on their account status. The criteria for determining account status are as follows:
 
[h2]Returning Warlord[/h2]

  1. Warlords who have not logged in after 00:00 on August 6, 2024, are considered returning warlords. Even if they log in during the event, they can still be successfully recruited.


  2. Returning warlords who activate the [Beacon Decree] will trigger the [Greeting of Beacon] quests.


 
[h2]New Warlord[/h2]

  1. Accounts created after 00:00 on September 5, 2024 (UTC+8) will be considered new warlords, and will be able to be successfully recruited even if they have logged into the game prior to being recruited.


  2. Accounts created before 00:00 on September 5, 2024(UTC+8), but currently have zero characters, are also considered new warlords.


  3. New warlords who activate the [Beacon Decree] will trigger the [Recalling of Beacon] quests.

During the event, completing the 【Recalling of Beacon】related tasks will reward players with items like Premium Unit Trial Card, Epic Leadership Doctrine, Hand-picked 4-star Season Unit Selection Box, Hand-picked 5-star Season Unit Selection Box.

Event rules

  1. Each account can recruit up to 10 players, including returning players and new players.


  2. After the event ends, the "Beacon Decree" will no longer trigger event tasks. All incomplete event tasks will be removed.


  3. Only one character per account can participate in this event, and the event rewards are limited to that character's participation and claim. Each account can only receive the event rewards once.

We will conduct maintenance updates from 08:00-12:30 on September 5th (UTC+8). The maintenance is expected to last for 4.5 hours. After the maintenance, we will distribute Bronze Coins*10000, Honor*500, and Unit Medal*25 as compensation. Warlords, please arrange your playtime accordingly. The update will contain the following:
 
I. Events

  • [New players] and [returning players] who are recruited will have different quests with rich rewards.


  • Each account can only have one character participating in the event, and the rewards are limited to that character only. Each account can only receive the rewards once.


  • Each account can recruit up to 10 players including returning players and new players.


  • After the event ends, the event items will no longer trigger any quests and all uncompleted quests will be removed.

  • The accounts that have not logged in since 8/6, 2024, 00:00 can join in the [Greeting of Beacon] event.


  • The accounts that were created after 9/5, 2024, 00:00 or have not created any character can join in the [Recalling of Beacon] event.

II. Adjustments and Optimizations



[h3]1. Season Settlement[/h3]

  Territory War & Ranked Battle

  • After the maintenance on September 5th, there will be a season settlement for [Territory War] & [Ranked Battles] of the [Alexander] Season. Please log in promptly after maintenance to claim the rewards. After the maintenance for the new season, the rewards will expire.


  • [Territory War] will remain open from the day of season settlement to the maintenance day of the new season, when [Military Exercise] will be closed instead. The time slot will remain the same.


  • Following the season settlement until the start of the new season maintenance, [Ranked Battles] will be temporarily closed.



  [Empire's Treasury] Exchange Reset

  • The exchange limit for items in the [Empire's Treasury] will reset after the maintenance.



[h3]2. Transfer[/h3]


  • [Real-time Transfer] system will be disabled after maintenance on September 5th.


  • The [New Season Transfer Reservation] system will be activated after maintenance on September 5th and will be disabled until maintenance of the new season. You can access the page through [ESC] - [Account Service] - [Season Server Reservation].


  • Upon successful reservation, after the new season maintenance is completed, you can directly log in to the target server.


  • There will be limits on the number of incoming and outgoing transfers for each server, which can be viewed on the transfer application interface.




[h3]3. [Blazing Plumes] Kills Announcer Optimization[/h3]


  • Added a scroll notification for hero kills within the battlefield map. Upon reaching [Blazing Plumes] Tier IV - [Burning Heart], the special kills announcement [Roar of Flames] will be visible to all players in the battle.




[h3]4. Other Adjustments[/h3]


  • Adjustments have been made to the rewards for the Recall Sign-In and Recall Treasuries for returning players after the maintenance on September 5th.




III. Bug Fixed and Optimizations

  • Fixed the issue where activating the unit training node [Shield Bash] of [Palace Guards] would result in the missing damage effects of [Shield Bash] action.


  • Fixed the issue where the [Health Drain] effect was not calculated in the Combat Dismount skill of the Nodachi weapon.


  • Fixed the issue where Ballista artillery would obstruct Ally's projectile.


  • Fixed the issue where the low-health sound effects of heroes in the main city would not disappear.


  • Optimized the visual effects of the [Weapon Dance] skill influence of the Poleaxe.


 

[Alexander] Season Server Transfer Notification

The [Alexander] Season is about to end and a new season will begin. We will have character transfers available soon.

Server Transfer Time:

We estimate that registration for server transfers will begin after maintenance on 9/5, 2024, and end on 9/18, 2024, 23:59 (UTC+8);

Transfer Scope

Players may transfer among the LA, DI, JC, SG, EX, and KH servers;

Transfer Cost

The transfer for each server costs variedly. Please check the details in the server transfer interface;

Transfer Restrictions

There is no restriction in character creation. Warlords may transfer according to their own needs; Characters reaching level 100 can be transferred;

Transfer Quotas

Please check the specific transfer quotas in the server transfer interface; How to Transfer:

Log in to the character you wish to transfer, press ESC and select Account Services -> Character Transfer to access the Character Transfer menu. Then select the server you wish to transfer to, and confirm your choice.

After you apply for transfer, your character will be tagged with "Pending Transfer". Your character will then be transferred following maintenance on 9/19.

You may cancel your server transfer application before 9/18, 23:59 (UTC+8). Though, upon cancelling a transfer you will not be able to apply for a new one for a period of 24 hours.

Important Info: 1. After submitting the transfer request, the current character cannot be deleted. 2. When applying for transfer, the character must leave his/her House (Imperial Restorationists and The Free Houses). 3. A successful transfer will clear the character's Social and Blocked List information; upon entering the target server, players will need to reselect a Region. 4. Items and resources that can be carried:   1) During transfer, only items and resources from the Inventory, Supplies, Wagon, and Resource Piles can be carried.   2) Items and resources listed in the Auctioneers cannot be carried during transfer. Please make sure to clear the items in advance to avoid losses.   3) Mail and attached items can be transferred to the new server.   4) Unclaimed equipment in the Reforge interface must be retrieved in advance. During the transfer process, this data will be deleted and cannot be transferred. 5. For Duplicate Names: After the transfer, if there is a character with the same name as yours on the target server, you will need to change your character name upon first login. 6. Additional Info: If there are restrictions on logging into the target server, the character will be unable to log in after the transfer. Please ensure that the target server can be accessed normally before initiating the transfer.
