CBL 2025:May 26th AMS Region Finals Highlights

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Match 1: COPE vs ZOD [Harbour City / Kurak Castle / Grasslands] 2-3

Round 1 (COPE Attack - ZOD Defense, Harbour City)
COPE's initial push with the Siege Tower faltered as their trebuchets were quickly dismantled. They then redirected their assault through the center gate to seize the supply point and press up the stairway. However, ZOD capitalized on the terrain with their Spartan Chosen, crushing COPE's main offensive line. Even after breaching the wall with a single tower, COPE's Siphonarioi could not withstand ZOD's Spartan-driven counter, leading to a decisive win for ZOD.
Round 2 (ZOD Attack - COPE Defense, Harbour City)
At the start, COPE chose to forfeit point A, allowing ZOD to swiftly assault the left supply point. COPE attempted an encirclement but fell into disarray due to strategic misalignment. ZOD capitalized on this confusion, breaking COPE apart point by point and advancing straight to The Base, securing another victory and a lead of 2-0.
Round 3 (COPE Defense - ZOD Attack, Kurak Castle):
COPE boldly opened with a cavalry charge, trading blows with ZOD's elite forces, and subsequently retreated to fortify their Base. In the endgame skirmish at the Base, COPE's mobility allowed them to target ZOD's heroes effectively. With all ZOD heroes slain, COPE clawed back a win, making it 2-1.
Round 4 (COPE Attack - ZOD Defense, Kurak Castle):
COPE observed ZOD massing forces at point A and cleverly maneuvered through the central gate to an undefended point B. Although the tail of their unit line was cut off, they managed to secure point B, overwhelm the reinforcements, and even their losses. In the final moments, COPE encircled The Base using the nearby staircase, crushing ZOD's defense to even the score at 2-2.
Round 5 (Grasslands):
Both teams clashed fiercely at the onset, with ZOD losing their advantage position and redirecting efforts towards undefended point B. Despite successful reclamation, COPE had already begun cementing their control. Continuous skirmishes ensued at all points, but ZOD, leveraging superior positioning, counter-pushed point B in the final countdown and maneuvered towards COPE’s Base, securing the win with greater capture progress. Congratulations to ZOD for claiming a 3-2 victory and becoming the AMS region champion!
