II. Other Bug Fixes and Optimizations

  • [Rank Protection Card] and [Rank Boost Card] items are available.

  • Players who have already obtained the limited-time titles [Spring's Arrival] and [Onslaught Conqueror] will have them automatically upgraded to permanent titles after the maintenance on February 20th.

  • [Territory War] - [Fort] new mode [Warrior Showdown] optimization: If the number of combatants is insufficient and they exit the battle list, a pop-up prompt will now appear.

  • Fixed an issue with the [Khevtuul Cavalry] skill [Spreading Flame] where burning arrows would ignore block and unstoppable effects, causing burn control effects. Now, [Spreading Flame] will only apply the burn control effect if damage is dealt and the target is not in a control-immune state.

  • Fixed an issue with the [Khevtuul Cavalry] skill [Spreading Flame] where burning arrows could be launched without restriction. Now, the number of burning arrows fired during [Spreading Flame] will be limited to 4-5 rounds.

  • Fixed an issue where units affected by the [Khevtuul Cavalry]'s [Spreading Flame] burning arrows would lose basic logic behaviors such as enemy targeting and movement.

  • Fixed an issue where heroes affected by the [Khevtuul Cavalry]'s [Spreading Flame] burning arrows could not roll to remove burn accumulation.

  • Removed the flame-spreading mechanic from the [Khevtuul Cavalry]'s [Spreading Flame] burning arrows. Now, only melee attacks after unlocking the [Mastery] node will trigger the flame-spreading effect.

  • Fixed an issue where certain unit skills would get abnormal cooldown and become unavailable.

  • The [Lionroar Crew] will be unable to use the [Sprint] skill between the start of [Set Up Artillery] and other actions.

  • Fixed an error where the [Lionroar Crew] would report a problem when using the attack command under special circumstances.

  • Fixed an issue where the [Fortebraccio Pikemen] would move forward and backward while in [Dispersed Formation].

  • Fixed an issue where the [Demesne Arquebusiers] would target enemies twice.

  • Fixed an issue where the unit command keyboard hints would flicker abnormally at certain resolutions.

  • Fixed an issue where the unit count might display incorrectly after reconnecting following a disconnection.

  • Fixed an issue where ranged units would have animation errors when knocked back by the [Spartan Kick] from Shield & Spear hero.

  • Fixed an issue where the name of the [Tradition's Power] attire part for the [Iron Reapers] was incorrect.

A Letter to All Players from the Development Team of Conqueror's Blade

Greetings Warlords,
As the start of the new year, we, the entire development team of Conqueror’s Blade, would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every player who has fought alongside us over the past five years. As we step into 2025, we will continue to forge ahead with clearer strategic direction and bolder content innovations to build a truly 'war world across time and space' with all of you.

New Journey in 2025: Expanding the Boundless Possibilities of the War World Together

[h3]I. Upholding the “Multi-Civilization, Cross-Era” Strategy[/h3]
1. Space Dimension: The Clashing of Civilizations is the Soul of the War World
The heart of Conqueror’s Blade lies in the chaos of Chinese cavalry clashing with Viking berserkers, samurai dueling Roman legions beneath crumbling walls. It’s the convergence of different civilizations, their troops, tactics, and cultural symbols that infuse every battle with an unpredictable "chemical reaction." And it is the players from all corners of the globe that truly bring this battlefield to life (yes—we see you, there are players who stay up until 3 AM in their time zone to fight in a capital city battle across the ocean).

2. Time Dimension: Breaking the Boundaries of Time to Explore the Possibilities of War
Last year, we bridged millennia: Alexander the Great’s phalanxes marched alongside Gustavus Adolphus’ artillery lines. The cross-time portrayal not only enriched battlefield strategy but revealed countless surprises in the tactical interplay between cold and hot weapons eras.

In 2025, we’re pushing further: Warring States chariot hordes? Renaissance city-state cannons? Every ripple in history’s tide could become your next battlefield in Conqueror’s Blade.

[h3]II. Core Directions for 2025[/h3]
[h3]Direction 1: Multi-Civilization Warfare – Deeper, Richer, Bolder[/h3]
  • Eastern Civilizations: There will be at least two seasons focused on Eastern civilizations in 2025, which will definitely include Chinese-themed seasons, while the other will explore underrepresented Asian battlefield cultures like Silla, Southeast Asia’s Siam, or Central Asia.

  • Western Civilizations: There will also be more seasons focused on Western civilizations in 2025. These are more likely to appear in the second half of the year.

  • Cross-Civilization Interactions: In the future, we may introduce “Multi-Civilization Cooperative Seasons” (for example, Tang Dynasty armies and Silla troops fighting together), exploring interesting combinations of civilizations throughout history.

[h3]Direction 2: Evolving Gameplay Systems – No More "One-off Updates"[/h3]
  • Territory War Innovation: We will update the rules with each season, continuing to expand the current City Garrison system. Mechanisms like “Warrior King” and “Warrior Showdown” will remain in future seasons. With each new season, we will keep adding more strategic decision-making elements.

  • Permanent Fun Modes: Our Spring Festival Onslaught mode (Season 2) sets the tone. Past popular modes will be continually optimized, generating new variations to ensure players can regularly engage with these fun elements.

  • Less Grind, More Strategic: Simplified progression lets veterans experiment freely and newcomers charge into battle faster. Meanwhile,we will deepen the strategic limits of core gameplay - Siege Battle, ensuring that the essence of Conqueror’s Blade becomes a timeless classic.

[h3]Direction 3: Combat Revolution – Embrace the Variables[/h3]
  • Seasonal Validation: Starting mid-year, we will focus on optimizing the core combat experience. We’re listening—your feedback will pinpoint areas in need of improvement and help shape new mechanics like unique skill systems or mysterious item effects, keeping the game fresh and challenging.

  • System Optimization: Once these new mechanisms are validated, they will become part of the enduring content in the game, allowing the Combat Strategy to continuously evolve. Adjustments will be made based on player feedback to fine-tune the parameters and balance of these new mechanisms.

[h3]III. Our Original Intention and Commitment to You[/h3]
Some players have asked, "Aren’t you afraid the content might feel too scattered with so many civilizations and eras?" Our answer remains: Conqueror’s Blade isn’t a history simulator—it’s a war fantasy sandbox. Whether it’s the armor details that history enthusiasts love, the tactical maneuvering that strategy fans crave, or the playful debates like “What BGM should we use when Polish Winged Hussars charges?”—it’s these things you love that define the soul of Conqueror’s Blade.

We fully understand that the development of Conqueror’s Blade would not be possible without the support and passion of our players. We pledge to keep you at the heart of every update. With the continued effort of both you and us, Conqueror’s Blade will become the definitive global war game legend.

[h3]Epilogue: The Ever Burning Fire in Our Heart[/h3]
Over the past five years, we’ve seen players write in-depth articles about seasons, perform stunning cavalry flanking maneuvers, and witnessed countless moments where players fought against all odds and thought, “We can still turn this around!” It’s these moments that make us truly believe: Conqueror’s Blade will, in time, become a second home for all war game enthusiasts.

2025 awaits. Let’s carve this saga belonging to global warlords into history—with blades as our quills.

A New Year Letter: Let's talk about units

Greetings, Warlord,

Over the past year, we’ve heard your voices loud and clear: “Grinding my units feels exhausting.” Every time we read these messages, we feel it deeply—new commanders brimming with ambition, yet held back by the grind, forced to retreat before their armies even take shape.

“The first lesson on the battlefield shouldn’t be compromise.”

As veterans who’ve fought alongside you in Conqueror’s Blade, we understand: Building your units shouldn’t feel like a soulless chore, and your tactical freedom shouldn’t be shackled by resource costs. For months, we’ve been fine-tuning a solution that balances your freedom to play your style with the core integrity of the battlefield.

This Lantern Festival, we’re ready to unveil our phased answer: LIMITED-TIME EVENT: [Potential Unleashed Initiative: Elite Unit Access]

Tactical Playground (Time-Limited Free Access) Log in and claim 16 max-level units (pre-equipped with Doctrines). Four core features ensure pure, unbridled combat:
  • Time-Limited Free Access — Jump into battle instantly without limit.
  • Full Freedom— Use these units in all matchmaking modes.
  • Elite Builds — Reduced Leadership costs let you mix and match for endgame-ready strategies.
  • Diverse Playstyles — Spears, shields, bows, cavalry—find your true calling.

Seamless Transition (Post-Event)
After the free period ends: Extend for 30 Days — Keep your favorite units longer with a low-cost renewal.

Why launch this during Lantern Festival?
Because we remember the Warlord who messaged us last New Year’s Eve: “Three straight losses ruined my holiday feast.” This update isn’t just a lantern guiding you through resource struggles—it’s our pledge: “We’ll dismantle every barrier to your glory, one by one.” Your feedback will directly shape future updates (e.g., extending free access, and making it available in more modes).

May these 16 battle-hardened units ignite your conquests. See you on the battlefield, Warlords!
