[h2]1. Monkey King Series Activities Are Coming to A Close. [/h2]
Here's what you need to know:
  1. The Guts & Glory activity menu will be closed.
  2. The Total Spendings Events will come to an end.
  3. The discount sales for Monkey King Attires will conclude, and the original prices will be restored.

[h2]2. Limited-Time Doctrine Pool Rotation[/h2]
Content:
Conqueror's Journey Battlefield is closed, and the Ancient Bastion is temporarily open. In the Ancient Bastion, the probability of finding Epic Doctrines for the Heavy Shield Unit is increased in War Scholar.
Time:
Event runs from October 19th (after maintenance) through November 9th (before maintenance).

[h2]1. Unit Adjustments[/h2]

[h3]Zweihanders[/h3]
  1. [Furious Zeal] has been modified to grant immunity when using skills instead of attacks and increase movement speed towards enemies by 30%.
  2. [Battle Stance] Cooldown time reduced from 18 seconds to 12 seconds.
  3. [Obliterate]'s first attack target number increased from 2 to 3.


[h2]2. Map Adjustments[/h2]
[h3]Sun City (Siege Battles, Free Battles, Ranked Battle modes)[/h3]
  1. Changed the defender's supply point inside the stockade between points A and B to an initially contestable status.
  2. Slightly adjusted the positions of supply points and siege engines outside Point A for the attacker.
  3. Reduced the reward time for capturing Point C from 180 seconds to 120 seconds.
  4. Adjust rebirth waiting time:
    • For attackers: Initial waiting time is adjusted from 30 seconds to 25 seconds, maximum waiting time is adjusted from 75 seconds to 55 seconds, and waiting time increase after each death is adjusted from 20 seconds to 15 seconds.
    • For defenders: Initial waiting time is adjusted from 30 seconds to 25 seconds, and the maximum waiting time is adjusted from 75 seconds to 65 seconds.

[h3]Wall Fort (Siege Battles, Free Battles, Ranked Battle mode)[/h3]
  1. Added an additional supply point outside the city, closer to the front lines for the attacker. Adjusted the original supply point location outside the city.
  2. Adjust the position of supply point at Point C for defenders.

[h2]3. System Adjustment[/h2]
  1. [Regional Bonus] Modified the Unit XP Bonus effect in the level settlement as follows:
    • For Levels 1-100, Unit XP +100%.
    • For Levels 101-200, Unit XP +80%.
    • For Levels 201-300, Unit XP +60%.
    • For Levels 301-400, Unit XP +40%.
    • For Levels 401-500, Unit XP +20%.
  2. Added the quest "Renowned far and wide", and it is available for warlords at level 300 or above. Upon completion, the warlord will receive 20 Unit Medals and 10 Advanced Unit XP Cards.Runs until maintenance on December 14th, 2023.
  3. Closed the Latent Potential. Expedition - Officer and Expedition - Recruit have been merged into Expeditions, and some quests involving Latent Potential have been removed and adjusted.


3. Bug Fixes
  1. Fixed the issue of being unable to enter the battle after the countdown is over.
  2. Fixed the issue where Leadership no longer works in other battles after being forced to exit battles like Deploy & Defend.
  3. Fixed the issue where warlords might not be able to see characters riding horses around themselves in the Capital.
  4. Fixed the occasional issue where Siege Engines & Artillery cannot be deployed.
  5. Fixed the issue where units cannot be deployed even though the Leadership value is sufficient.
  6. Fixed the issue of getting stuck on the loading screen after closing the deployment menu.
  7. Fixed the issue of a scene flashing before each loading.
  8. Fixed the issue of incorrect Unit Type display for the [Modao Battalion].
  9. Fixed the issue of the wrong movement speed of [Mace Sergeants] in the World.
  10. Fixed the issue where [Halberdier Sergeants] had different skill sequences under different Formations.
  11. Fixed the issue where some Units were unable to recover HP when [Cover Commander] is active after climbing the ladder and assist Hero-type skills can no longer be used when climbing the ladder.

[Project Nirvana] Journal #4 Verification Maps Released!

A little while ago, as part of the final target verification for Project Nirvana, the development team gathered votes through in-game platforms, Discord, and other sources to determine the top 3 levels with the highest demand for excitement from players. The voting process has now concluded. After tallying the votes from all platforms, the highest-ranked levels on each platform are as follows:

Of course, these three maps are only for public verification of subsequent plans, and the scope of optimization covered by Nirvana Project actually includes the entire game, not limited to just these three maps. Although the dev team had anticipated the voting direction earlier, we still felt tremendous pressure when we received the final results. At this point, we would like to share with you the current performance of these three maps:



This data was collected after the development team urgently assembled a standard test machine according to the [minimum configuration] and [recommended configuration] and connected it to the online test. In the past, the dev team prioritized skill effects and attires, sometimes ignore the importance of a smooth gameplay experience. However, the team now acknowledges that improving frame rates and reducing system resource usage are crucial for delivering a satisfying experience to you.

Achieving higher frame rates is no easy feat. Many times, the Conqueror’s Blade dev team faces numerous difficulties and challenges during performance optimization. These challenges encompass the intricate structure of the game with its multitude of units, heroes, Siege Engines & Artillery, game logic, graphics rendering, audio processing, and network communication, among other elements. The interactions between these components can have intricate effects on performance.

Furthermore, the dev team must also consider the diversity of hardware and software environments, including CPU, GPU, memory, operating systems, and more. These factors significantly impact the game's performance.

Indeed, optimizing Harbour City and Hidden City for Siege Battles is a top priority for us. Among the top three maps, Continopolis is notorious for its low frame rate performance, earning it the nickname "C-Point Meat Grinder." Crashes and game exits during battles at the C-Point are common. It's the most challenging online map to enhance performance.

Additionally, Continopolis presents a significant number of areas prone to technical issues. While the battles are intense, the challenges of program optimization are even more daunting, especially in the clearly visible tunnel. This seemingly ordinary tunnel is, in reality, a major optimization challenge. The lack of unit priority in rendering results in all units rendering simultaneously, placing a considerable strain on device performance. However, this is just one of numerous optimization challenges within Continopolis.

But don't worry, warlords! While the optimization process is filled with difficulties, the dev team is fully committed to enhancing the game and delivering a superior gaming experience for everyone!

[h2]1. How to resolve the issue of crashing or freezing in battles?[/h2]
We understand the frustration that crashes or freezes can cause, and we're actively working to address this issue. To minimize the impact of unexpected crashes during battles, we implemented an optimization in the game version released on September 28th. With this improvement, unexpected accidents, like crashes in Ranked Battles, will no longer negatively affect your personal game results.
  • For example, if you experience a crash during a battle but your team emerges victorious, the system will consider it a win for you, and it won't be counted as a loss.
  • Furthermore, if you encounter a crash issue, we recommend checking your device's available memory and graphics memory. To prevent similar issues caused by local problems, it's helpful to verify the game file integrity as well.
  • Our development team is continuously working on optimizations and improvements to enhance the game's compatibility and stability. Details of these optimizations will be provided in the update log, where you can find more information on our progress.


[h2]2. My inventory is overflowing, and sometimes items seem to disappear without explanation. Is there a way to quickly track item usage?[/h2]
To enhance item tracking in your inventory, we are planning to introduce a self-service inquiry function for key items in future updates. Once the function is rolled out, you will be able to view information such as changes in item quantity and the reasons behind these changes in your account's inventory. Keep an eye on our update log for more information.

If you have any questions about your inventory assets, you can promptly contact customer service through the in-game support system. Providing detailed information like the time of item changes, item names, actions taken with the items, and so on will help us verify and assist you more efficiently.

[h2]3. I preordered the [Knightfall] Season Pass at the end of the last season, but I didn't receive the 3 Stars Unit Unlock Order for the [Knightfall] Season. Why is that?[/h2]
In the [Knightfall] Season Pass Preorder event, we expressed our gratitude by including bonus rewards that allow you to unlock [Schutzdiener] for free. To claim these rewards after preordering the Season Pass, you should participate in the [Knight's Oath Expedition] event on the O-Events page. Once you meet the corresponding requirements, you can manually acquire 2 Unlock Orders for [Schutzdiener] from the event page. Please note that these rewards are not automatically granted upon preordering the Season Pass.

[h2]4. Last season, I used my extra Latent Potential drop cards, which turned into extra drop buffs in the [Knightfall] season. Can I exchange these buff counts for the corresponding War Tokens?[/h2]
No need to worry, Warlords! After the maintenance on October 12th, the additional drop buffs in Latent Potential will be converted into the corresponding number of War Tokens and returned to you through in-game mail. Please check your mail in a timely manner.

[h2]5. I enter the battlefield while reforging my equipment in the Capital. When I return to the Capital after the battle, my reforged equipment is missing. What happened to it?[/h2]
After a successful Artificer's Forge, if the reforged equipment hasn't been picked up, it remains with the original Armourer. You can return to the Armourer to retrieve it. Additionally, we will optimize the reminder system for picking up reforged equipment in future updates to prevent similar situations from causing confusion.

[h2]6. Will we receive system prompts for key actions when using items in the future?[/h2]
Your feedback is invaluable to us! After a thorough evaluation by our teams, it has been determined that enhancing system prompts for essential item-related actions is necessary. We will incorporate this improvement in upcoming updates. For example, the Fusion system will provide a more noticeable consumption prompt when the Reforged value reaches 5,000, and the Store will offer purchase tips when using discount coupons. In addition, we recommend being cautious when dealing with important inventory items and performing a double-check before any critical actions to avoid unintended item consumption.

[h2]7. Why did I receive the notice [Transaction has been declined by fraud detection system] during the top-up process?[/h2]
A friendly reminder: To prevent frequent transaction failures, we recommend avoiding frequent opening and closing of the transaction page during the top-up process. This notice may occur due to a high number of recent refunds or failed transactions. Since the top-up system is facilitated by Steam (and not an in-game function), we suggest reaching out to Steam customer service for assistance and resolution if you encounter this issue.

[h2]8. How can I resolve the issue of getting stuck on the map?[/h2]
If you find yourself stuck outside the battlefield, such as in the Capital or the World, we recommend using the [ESC → Encountered a problem? → Reset Location] option to resolve it.
However, if you're stuck on the battlefield and are in immediate danger, please promptly submit the issue to customer service via [ESC → Encountered a problem? → Submit Question]. Our development team will analyze and optimize the issue as quickly as possible. To assist with the resolution, please provide the following information:
  • Relevant screenshots of the stuck issue.
  • Detailed information about your actions leading up to the issue, including actions like jumping, rolling, mounting or dismounting, using displacement skills, being attacked and moved by attacks, colliding with a moving siege engine or artillery, and whether any area-affecting effects were present.
  • Include as much information as possible about the weapons that might have caused the issue, such as Chain Dart & Scimitar and Dual Blades.


[h2]9. I'm using third-party input methods, and the game returns to the desktop in Fullscreen mode. What can I do?[/h2]
Third-party input methods that involve screen switching can cause the game to return to the desktop when displaying floating windows while typing. To prevent this, we recommend using the built-in system input method for typing when you're in Fullscreen mode.

[h2]10. In Unit Deployment, my Leadership value is sufficient according to the Unit Menu, but I can't select a Unit that doesn't exceed my Leadership value. What's happening?[/h2]
This issue is indeed a bug and will be fixed in the version update on October 12th.

[h2]11. Bug fixes report for the beginning of the [Knightfall] Season.[/h2]
With the introduction of new content and activities in the [Knightfall] season, some unexpected issues arose. Many of these have been promptly reported and addressed, and the development team is diligently investigating the causes of these bugs to create a more stable version. We deeply appreciate your swift feedback, which contributes to the game's overall stability. Here's a summary of recently resolved issues:
  • The issue where First Victory Quest could not be completed, and Side Quests could not be finished: Fixed.
  • The issue with flashing problem during the settlement of Territory War Battles and the inability to claim rewards: Fixed.
  • The issue with unclaimable survey rewards: Fixed.
  • The issue with Conqueror's City modeling: Fixed
