Patch Notes v0.19.2.11

Patch 19.2.11 is a primarily minor bug fix patch following the release.
Features & Bug Fixes
• Added regular events - Arena Moon Days & Wodens Days, 2v2 Tyr’s Days and Thor’s Days, and Casual Frija’s Days

  • Added content for upcoming Halloween event

  • Improvements to End Turn button in game

  • Increased resolution for Adorner of Fertility menu background

  • Added several new sound effects and vfx

  • Reworded card text to make use of Sunrise and Sundown keywords (at the beginning of your turn and at the end of your turn, respectively)

  • More consistent usage of Threatens keyword

  • Improved quote style for card text that grants abilities

  • Renamed “TYPE” header in card filters to “CLASS” in preparation for E2.

  • Added Tournament options for delays between rounds, manual match start (official TOs only)

  • Added ban phase to Conquest / Last Standing Tournament modes (see known issues)

  • Restored “back” functionality to Deck Editor, Collection, Pack Opening, and Draft screens

    • The full escape menu can be accessed via either the escape key or long press

  • Fixed a time sync bug that would cause clients to end turn prematurely in PvP matches if their local clocks were off from server time

  • Fixed an issue with new accounts not having a default background screen set

  • Fixed draw ordering issue with packs in the Pack Opening screen drawing over the top bar

  • Fixed store specials refreshing if you’re looking at them while they are refreshing

  • Fix for Banding puzzle unintended solution due to change to Jorthsong

  • Fixed Ruby Raider losing Rush after being Forged when entering the boneyard

  • Fixed Guise of Phobos debuff not falling off when the minion with Guise of Phobos is returned to hand from play.

  • Fixed not being able to return Automagic Artillery to hand from play when it is Suppressed

  • Fixed bark randomization for the Ruby’s Ruffians and Ruby’s Raiders mobs
Known Issues
• Tournament UI has some noticeable jankiness, particularly with the new features

  • Guilds (Note: we will not be including this in future patch notes, it’s still on the Roadmap though)

  • Web has sound disabled
Cards/Tuning
Copies of Weapons Check crafted between 9/15 and 9/27 can be unmade at full value. Copies of Vampire Historian crafted between 9/15 and 10/5 will likewise be unmade at full value.

Coliseum of Strife

  • Pursuit +2(e) → +1(e)
Coliseum of Strife was generating quite a bit of early advantage with the early stat buff and needing just one successful combat for the first draw. This change should slow that a bit while still providing some early tempo while on the draw.

Journey of Souls

  • +3 starting life → +6 starting life
Journey of Souls has been a bit on the weaker side and this extra life should give players a little more time to get value from their returning minions.

Vampire Historian

  • 3[R]R → 4[R]R
Vampire Historian has been very difficult to contest and meaningfully answer when backed by Amnesia. Pulling back a bit on its mana cost should allow for the defending player to be able to block either with minions that can withstand the Amnesia hit or to play a second minion to contest Historian with.

Rings of Immortality is now live!

Welcome to Rings of Immortality, let the 21st Pantheon Games begin!

Rings of Immortality is Mythgard's first expansion. Celebrate the 21st Pantheon Games with:
  • Over 100 New Cards
  • Revamped Store Packed Full of Cards and Cosmetics
  • New Ranked Ladder Season
  • New Starter Pack Available
  • Competitive Support
Features & Bug Fixes
• Deck editor, collection, and pack opening views now have a hamburger button instead of a back button. This allows additional functionality in those scenes (such as accessing the store or checking missions) but has the downside of requiring an extra button press to exit
  • Fixed a bug with mission banner duplication in the missions panel
  • Fixed a bug with tournament sign in when client clock deviates from server
  • 2v2 and ranked games are now never private
  • Corrected Call From the Grave targeting Spirit minions (Awaken abilities don’t belong on Spells or Items as they never ‘enter play’ in the same sense as Minions, Enchantments, and Artifacts)
  • Fixed several rendering issues on WebGL
  • Various other bug fixes
Known Issues
• A “made with Unity” splash appears on game start on some platforms
  • iOS users will not be patched to the new version at this time due to events entirely outside of our control. We’ll try to get a version to players on iOS as soon as possible.
  • Xiomara’s background has sorting issues and elements that will float over some menus.
  • Guilds are NYI

Patch Notes v0.19

New store interface (still a work in progress) and the last batch of q-mode balance changes before release.

We’re primarily trying to conform to Apple design requirements with this build. Unfortunately, this has led to multiple rendering issues which we’re still working on solving (see Known Issues).
Features & Bug Fixes
• New store interface
Known Issues
• Bad textures and pink squares all over the place (primarily on WebGL, but they may show up on other platforms as well)
  • Guilds are NYI

Mythgard's first expansion Rings of Immortality releases next week 9/18!
Mythgard's first expansion, Rings of Immortality is launching next week!
On September 18th, the entire world of Mythgard gathers for the 21st Pantheon Games.
While the people come together to celebrate unity, hidden powers plot in the shadows to turn this joyous event into a nightmare.
Forge your way to victory!
Forge is a brand new keyword coming in Rings of Immortality. When you burn a card with Forge it returns to your deck with extra power. This lets you choose between deploying your troops or forging them into their full potential.
A new path: Coliseum of Strife
+2 starting life, 0🗲
+1🗲 when one of your minions kills another minion in combat
At the end of your turn spends 3🗲 to draw a card and give it +1/+0 if it is a minion
Pursuit: Starts with +2🗲 and the first minion you create gets +1/+0
Safeguard your army with Protect
2: Once per turn, Give a minion Armor 1 until your next turn.
Competitive Play
With Mythgard’s last beta season ending on the 18th, we are aiming to make our first official season the most competitive yet! We have partnered with 983 Media in order to run a series of competitive tournaments, all of which will be hosted through the games in-depth tournament client.

This tournament series starts with the launch of the Rings of Immortality expansion, where players are invited to play in a draft tournament to celebrate the release. These smaller competitive contests, titles Mythgard Flashpoint's, will offer smaller cash prizes, along with a host of in-game goodies. The main event, The Mythgard Open, will take place over the weekend of the 10th & 11th of October, offering a sizable $1,000 prize pool.
