[Announcement] 6/22 Server Merge Duplicate Character Name Reset Changes
Hello Chasers!
We have heard the community's feedback about the duplicate character name reset. After reviewing everyone’s feedback, we have decided to make the following changes to the character name reset:
- Duplicate character names will be changed into the following format: CharacterName#ServerCode
- After the Server Merge, players will be able to continue playing without reassigning their character names and will be able to retain their old names.
- Players using whispers and custom games will have to include the server code for names with the server code attached.
- Players changing the name or creating a new character after the Server Merge cannot use pre-existing character names. (ex: if 'Kurtzpel#America' exists, the character name 'Kurtzpel' cannot be used)
