May 20th 2020 Weekly Maintenance Schedule Patch Notes

The following patch note pertains to contents that will be updated during the (UTC+0) May 20th,2020 Weekly Maintenance.
Maintenance will happen during the following times:

[h3]Tournament System Beta[/h3]
An all new Tournament System (Beta) will be added to KurtzPel.
Tournament System is a new system where multiple players fight against each other until a winner is born.
Before this becomes an official system / content for KurtzPel, we are releasing it in Beta form first to work out the kinks and polish it.
Do not be afraid to give us your feedback about the Tournament System.
Beta Duration
UTC+0 2020-05-20 – Until 2020-06-03 Maintenance
Tournament System Testing Time
At 20:00 for Each Server
America - 20:00 PDT
Europe - 20:00 CEST
Asia - 20:00 JST
How it Works
When the set time for the Tournament System comes, a notification will go out.

You can then enter the Tournament UI by accessing the Mission Window (M Key).
You can participate in the tournament by clicking to Register for Tournament.
If you have a partner you want to participate with, make sure to party up with them before you register to participate. You can also choose to do it alone as well.
The tournament registration period will last for 30 min and during that time, you can either enter the Training Grounds or Participate in other missions.
However, please make sure you are inside the Eltheca Lobby before the 30 min is up.

When the registration period runs out, you will be prompted to confirm whether you will participate in the tournament. Press Participate if you are sure.

Once you are successful in participating, your bracket and success message will pop up.
If you registered alone, you will automatically be matched with a partner that is equal to your skill level.

When your opponent is chosen, best of 16 matches will begin.

When you are victorious, the matches will begin again with whoever won first.
Best of 8 matches will begin with whoever wins first.

While you wait for your match, you can press on your enemy’s name to check their info.

When the winner of the Tournament is decided, a server wide announcement will go out that notifies the winner of the highest tier tournament.

The winner will have a trophy icon proving their victory beside their name in Eltheca.
This trophy icon will last until the next winner of the Tournament is born.

Hall of Fame
When you click on the Hall of Fame, you can check the most recent winners.

You can click “View Brackets” to check the bracket status when they won.

If you want to check your own records, you can click on My Record to view your previous brackets and result.

Click on “Recent Record” to see your previous Tournament Matches, Brackets, and results.

When the match time goes over 10 min, the winner will be decided under the following rule.
- Death Match: Team with the most HP wins. If HP is equal for both teams, the team with the most accumulated damage dealt will win.
- Capture the Flag: Team with the most accumulated damage dealt will win. If the dealt damage is the same, the team with the highest HP will win.

o Chase Attack Activation Requirement Improved
Bow, Staff, and Orb's Chase Attack will now activate regardless of the distance between you and the enemy.
o Dash Control Improvement
Fixed an issue with Dash activating even when you didn't press double tap
o Evade i-frame Improved
All Karmas will now have the same duration of i-frame after evading.
invincibility frame will wear off once you start moving after evading
o Knockdown Duration
In order to promote more offensive gameplay, knockdown duration has been decreased.
- Max Knockdown duration decreased from 2.5 sec. to 1 sec.
- Minimum Knockdown duration decreased from 1.5 sec. to 0.5 sec.

Skill Radius and Damage Increased, Animation Duration Decreased

Buff Duration will now be refreshed when the skill is used again during its duration

Stability of hitting an enemy that's in the air has been improved
- Basic Combo 1st & 3rd Hit will hit higher
- Multi-Stab will now slowly push back enemies
- Basic Combo's 5th Hit's Hit Stop has been removed
o Rend
Skill's Vertical Range has been increased
• Ruler of Darkness
o Aerial Right Click
Endurance will be decreased to match the Aerial Left Click
o Shadow Slash
Endurance Increased by 50%
When you hit an enemy with Shadow Slash, you can move cancel faster to follow up with a combo
o Soul Taker
Move Cancel timing during Soul Taker will be delayed
o Rising Wings
You will now charge to the direction of your character facing
In order to increase the risk of missing the skill, if you miss your attack, your endurance will drop back down immediately once the attack motion stops
Aerial Hit Duration Decreased from 1 sec. to 0.7 sec.
o Death Hold
In order to make it easier to follow up with a combo, once you hit an enemy, you can dash cancel
Activating Resource Cost decreased from 50 to 30
Damage and Break Damage Decreased (You will no longer be able to break attacks with highest endurance)
o Dark Mist
Damage and Break Damage Decreased (You will no longer be able to break attacks with highest endurance)
o Demon Rush
Skill will be adjusted to deal damage and continue combos instead of breaking an enemy
Damage Increased by 64%
Break Damage Decreased
Made it easier to follow up with a combo but hard to break enemies with just this skill alone
When using the skill, you will now be able to aim
[h3]Changes[/h3]
• Skills that is acquired at default will no longer be tradable.
[h3]Bug Fix[/h3]
• Fixed an error with Dual Soul’s weapon becoming bigger after using a certain Emote
• Fixed a visual error after using Spirit Rain, your skills will look like it is available to use when it is not
• Fixed an error with Orb’s left mouse click command and movement key would randomly trigger a dash
• Fixed an error with Orb’s Heart Stopper skill not following the intended direction when firing
• Fixed an error with Diabolic Witch able to become invisible using certain environment
