Voting is now open for the 16th Council of Stellar Management (CSM16), so head on over to the voting page and cast your vote for the candidates who best represent your interests in New Eden. Be sure to check out the details of each candidate to make an informed decision before 11:00 UTC on 15 June!

All Omega clones with an account that is at least 60 days old are eligible to vote in the elections.

To celebrate the election of a new council for CSM16, you can claim free gifts as part of the Daily Democracy login event running from 8 to 15 June. You can get your hands on a sizeable set of Skill Points, a Council Diplomatic Shuttle, and a SKIN for it. These gifts are available for both Omega and Alpha Capsuleers, with rewards added retroactively if you upgrade during the campaign.

The latest Abyssal Proving Grounds event will be going live on 5 June, running for exactly 24 hours until June 6!

For the first time in the history of the Abyssal Proving Grounds, we will focus exclusively on the battleship, that essential backbone of any New Eden war fleet. This time, however, there will be no fleet – it’s a 1v1 duel to the death.

With the breadth and scope of the vessels available, the Battleship Showdown promises to be a true test of not only strategy and tactics, but cunning and creativity as well.

Limitations for this round are:

• Ships limited to the Abaddon, Apocalypse, Armageddon, Raven, Rokh, Scorpion, Dominix, Hyperion, Megathron, Maelstrom, Tempest, Typhoon and Praxis
  
• Modules limited to Meta Level 5 and below
  
• No Frigates allowed in Frigate escape bay
  
• Maximum of one local shield or armor repair module per ship
  

Proving Filaments will be required for entry, and as always, they can be found in Abyssal Deadspace loot or purchased from the in-game market.

Important Note: The 1v1 Battleship Showdown is a 24-hour event. Unlike most of our Proving Grounds events, which run from Friday until Tuesday, this one will run from downtime on Saturday 5 Jun until downtime on Sunday 6 Jun. Don’t miss out on the chance to ea rn bragging rights as the first ever Proving Grounds Battleship maestro!

Nearly 10 years ago on 22 July 2011, Red Vs Blue gathered up its first Ganked fleet and flew into the cold vastness of New Eden looking for fights.

After being a successful and popular RVB staple event for many years, Ganked was eventually inherited by Spectre Fleet, and now after nearly 10 years of weekly public fleets, Ganked is about to hit key milestone: GANKED 500!

To commemorate this momentous occasion Spectre Fleet is putting together a collaboration event with several of New Eden's fantastic NPSI groups, including but not limited to:

AND bringing together legendary EVE Online Fleet Commanders such as:

• Muon Neutrino (Yarrr)
  
• Keacte (Fun Inc)
  

This special event will be taking place on Saturday 5 June at 18:00 UTC. It will also be streamed live on CCPTV so if you can't show up in person you can still tune in to watch the explosions!

Fleets will be marshalling in Jita and while the fleets form up Virion Stoneshard will regale us with Spectre Fleet's history.

Spectre Fleet is supplying 50 billion worth in prizes and explodables, with several organised (and disorganised!) fights planned with good friends from around New Eden.
CCP developers, GMs and ISD will also be joining NPSI fleets to fly alongside you!

The Stargate Trailblazers event has been extended and will now be running through to 11:00 UTC on 3 June, giving you more time to try out the newly improved sites and support the Empires!
