Dreaded Collective - New Update

Collective Capsuleers,

The Dreaded Collective update coming on 25 August will bring a number of changes to Triglavian vessels, including ammo damage upgrades to the Zirnitra that will make it a strong competitor against other Dreadnoughts. There will also be adjustments to elements of the Kikimora, Leshak, Vedmak and Draugur, bringing further balance to Triglavian ships, so keep an eye out for further information on the changes coming as part of this update soon!

These changes will have an impact on fleet doctrines, affect meta, and add further usability to specific vessels. You can log onto the Singularity Test Server to check out the coming updates to these ships now!

EVE Echoes now live!

We are thrilled to announce that after three years of close collaboration and partnership, NetEase Games and CCP Games have launched EVE Echoes for iOS and Android! The game is free to download from the App Store and the Google Play Store.

EVE Echoes launches in English, Russian, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, enabling new players and EVE enthusiasts all over the world to enjoy the hallmark game experience of EVE Echoes on their mobile devices.

EVE Echoes is a next-gen mobile sci-fi space MMO game based upon signature EVE Online design principles. Players will be able to blaze their own path to glory within a massive sandbox environment and forge alliances with other pilots from across the galaxy to shape the game’s persistent universe.

Players are free to choose their own path from countless options, engaging in interstellar combat, resource harvesting, industrial manufacturing, trading within a sophisticated player economy, exploration, as well as many other activities across 8,000+ solar systems. Whether it is an empire’s rise and fall, or the change in the balance of power, the entire history of EVE Echoes will be written by its players.

Exclusive to EVE Echoes, the Yan-Jung are introduced as a new NPC faction! Within this parallel universe of New Eden, they are the direct descendants of an ancient civilization who value balance, appreciate the harmony of a collective, respect history, and strive for the ultimate pursuit of "becoming one with heaven."

Going forward, NetEase Games and CCP Games will work on bringing even more content from the EVE universe to mobile. Players can look forward to features such as Sovereignty and larger ship hulls being brought to the game via continuous updates, as well as ongoing efforts to improve and enrich the game with the aid of EVE Echoes’ supportive community and fans for feedback, ideas and suggestions.

Further along in the future, players can expect to hear announcements about crossover events between with EVE Echoes and EVE Online.

New Bluestar Defenders SKIN for EDENCOM Ships

The new Bluestar Defenders SKIN is now available in EVE Online's New Eden Store for the EDENCOM ship line, which includes the Skybreaker (Frigate), Stormbringer (Cruiser) and Thunderchild (Battleship)!

This stunning SKIN promotes the "Bluestar Defenders" unit of ships whose special role is to fight back against the Triglavian invasion, while making special reference to the defense of blue star systems in New Eden which the Triglavian Collective appear to have focused their considerable efforts on capturing.

In addition, a number of selected SKINs and items of apparel have returned to the New Eden Store, including the Ruby Sungrazer and Bloody Hands SKINs. However, other selected SKINs and items, such as the Intaki Syndicate and In Rust We Trust SKINs, will only remain in-store until 18 August. Keep an eye on the New Eden Store for these changes and don't miss out if there are SKINs or items of apparel you've had your eye on for a while!

Upcoming Abyssal Proving Grounds Events

The Triglavian Collective continue to dovetail their invasion efforts by inviting Capsuleers to test their might in the Abyssal Proving Grounds within the depths of Abyssal Deadspace! Accessible through dedicated sets of Proving Filaments that remain active during a series of limited time events, these new Proving Grounds will be accessible to small groups of Capsuleers, fighting against each other in a variety of specified ship types.

The schedule for the next three Abyssal Proving Grounds events is as follows:

21 - 25 August: 2v2 Battlecruisers
Ship Types: Drake, Ferox, Naga, Prophecy, Harbinger, Oracle, Brutix, Myrmidon, Talos, Cyclone, Hurricane, Tornado, and Gnosis - with no Faction/Officer modules or implants.

28 August - 1 September: 5v5 Corvettes
Ship Types: Ibis, Velator, Reaper, and Impairor - with no modules higher than meta level 4 (T1 and Named).

4 - 8 September: Caldari Union Day 2v2 Faction Frigates/Interceptors/Destroyers
Ship Types: Caldari Navy Hookbill, Griffin Navy Issue, Raptor, Crow, Cormorant, and Corax - with no Faction/Officer modules or implants.

New Abyssal Proving Grounds Event

The third Abyssal Proving Grounds event is now live in EVE Online, so make sure you have your Proving Filaments handy either from Abyssal Deadspace loot drops, or from the in-game market!

Until 11:00 UTC on 11 August, you can further celebrate Amarr Foundation Day by engaging in 3v3 player combat with Imperial Navy Slicers, the only permitted hull for this event.

Don't forget, you can keep track of Capsuleer performance and prowess in this event using the leaderboards!
