Try Out Planetary Industry Templates
Industrious capsuleers,
The planets of New Eden have long presented rich opportunities for resourceful industrialists to extract and refine the materials that keep the cluster thriving. Now, there is a new way to streamline your Planetary Industry (PI) operations: Templates, allowing you to set up a planetary colony and save it to a PI browser. You can then share your layouts with your fellow capsuleers and corporation members, or use them to set up a new colony much faster than before.

Starting today, you can opt-in to test out these new work-in-progress templates using the Feature Previews tab in the Settings menu (by pressing 'Esc'). While not a big revamp of Planetary Industry, this is a quality-of-life improvement intended to simplify colony setup and management. The doors are being opened today so you can start kicking the tires and help us work out the kinks.

Your feedback will be crucial in shaping this and future updates, so please share your insights through the dedicated forum thread.

Vanguard Event Extended: Get Free Access
Capsuleers,
The ongoing insurgencies are only intensifying, and a decision has been made to keep Vanguard forces on the ground longer. To that end, YC126.11.28 Groundbreak is being opened up to free access and extended until 12:00 UTC on 12 December. This means all access barriers are being removed, allowing all warclones to join, no codes or subscriptions required. In addition, Vanguard contribution to system corruption and suppression in the cluster will be increased over this coming weekend, so make sure to take advantage of this boost while it lasts.

If you have been waiting in the wings, now is the perfect time to go boots-on-the-ground in EVE Vanguard, the in-development sci-fi MMOFPS set in the EVE Universe. Furthermore, if you have friends you want to play with, they can now join you planetside for free. Make sure to check the system requirements to ensure you have a good experience, and remember that the game is still in early development, so your participation and feedback can help shape its future.
REWARDS IN SPACE AND ON THE GROUND
Besides the glory associated with valor on the battlefield, participating in the current operation comes with additional rewards, in EVE Online and EVE Vanguard. Omega clones who go boots-on-the-ground will receive a crate containing one of 16 Arkombine Arisen SKINs, four of which have not been released before.* To be eligible, you need to deploy in EVE Vanguard for more than 10 minutes. The reward crate will be claimable in the New Eden Store from 23:59 UTC on 13 December.

Additionally,  as warclones who spend more than one hour on the ground during the event will receive a stunning new gun skin, Seykal Fury, at a later date.

*Alpha players who earned their reward before 12:00 UTC on 5 December will also receive their crate at 23:59 UTC on 13 December.

Revenant Updates: Reshaping New Eden
Powerful capsuleers,
The Revenant expansion continues to evolve with new enhancements and updates, many of which were shaped by your feedback, designed to empower pilots and corporations alike. Automate your ship replacement program with the Ship Insurance Corporation Project type, enjoy the freedom to complete AIR Daily Goals with EverMarks, engage in Mercenary Tactical Operations, plus a multitude of additional changes arriving now and in the near future.
FEARLESS FLIGHT
Building on and adding to the Ship Loss Corporation Project type introduced in the Equinox expansion, the new Ship Insurance project type brings automated ship replacement programs for corporations. Based on feedback from corp leaders, this offers more ways to compensate your members with a streamlined system that guarantees seamless payouts based on loss value. Now your fleets can charge fearlessly into battle, knowing their investments are covered, and they are guaranteed a chance to fight another day, whatever the peril.
FREEDOM TO PROGRESS
For pilots seeking greater freedom, EverMarks can now be used to complete AIR Daily Goals. Focus on the activities you enjoy the most, while still progressing and achieving your ambitions. Use your EverMarks strategically and turn your stockpile into meaningful opportunities. With this new update and the increased flexibility it brings the number of daily goals has been streamlined to four, ensuring that capsuleers have meaningful choices without feeling overwhelmed, striking a balance between flexibility and focus. AIR remains dedicated to monitoring and fine-tuning the system to ensure it empowers you with the perfect blend of control and agency, letting you shape your path in New Eden.
BASK IN YOUR SHIPS’ GLORY
Spaceships are at the heart of the EVE experience, and boarding a new ship for the first time is about to become even more of a celebratory moment – one your hard-earned vessels deserve! Starting 5 December, cinematic ship introductions will bring your ships to life, showcasing their power and beauty in a dynamic and immersive way, celebrating and highlighting the ship’s unique character. These scenes can be replayed, skipped, or disabled based on your preference.
NEW EDEN EVOLVES
Your feedback has driven both immediate improvements and laid the groundwork for future evolution across New Eden. Sovereignty anomaly warp-in points for NPCs have already been adjusted, enabling quicker and more responsive strategic engagements. In addition, a number of wormhole activities have been enhanced – more on those in the Patch Notes.

Since the launch of Revenant, nullsec has been a hive of activity, with over 100 mercenary dens destroyed daily. Now, Mercenary Tactical Operations (MTO), have begun to spawn in systems with mercenary dens, creating new opportunities for capsuleers to drive development and reduce anarchy by completing objectives, boosting (or hindering) the production of infomorph decryption keys. As covered in last week’s update capsuleers can secure valuable rewards while stabilizing planetary workforce and mitigating disruptions.

Also detailed in last week’s news item, various improvements and “Little Things” inspired by your feedback have been introduced across New Eden. Ship balance changes have refined and boosted several vessels, miners have gained the ability to compress resources directly from the right-click menu, while exhumers and barges enjoy better locked target capabilities and faster excavation drones.

Multiple updates to Observatory Flashpoint sites in Pochven have been made recently, including enhanced drone aggression and reliable red loot amounts, and these ongoing changes remain priorities, as well as continued ship balancing efforts. Furthermore, adjustments have been made to Factional Warfare and Insurgency systems, driven by your feedback, aiming to keep these conflicts dynamic and engaging.
THE SAGA CONTINUES
Revenant is off to an explosive start, but there’s a lot more to come. Vanguard forces have descended once more for YC126.11.28 Groundbreak, influencing live insurgencies in New Eden and engaging in new challenges and activities.

Now is the perfect time to prosper with the Deathless as Cyber Monday brings the biggest discount on Starter Packs yet! Until 5 December, you can get up to 40% off packs loaded with Omega time, Skill Points, PLEX, exclusive SKINs, and more.

In addition, Winter Nexus kicks off on 5 December, bringing thrilling opportunities and seasonal rewards through the entire month.

Your voices have contributed to these adjustments, capsuleers, helping to shape the present and future of the cluster. The Revenant expansion represents an opportunity to rise stronger, to command chaos, and carve your legacy among the stars.

Shape the Chaos: Revenant Updates
Tactical capsuleers,
The Revenant expansion surges ahead, with new additions to mercenary dens introducing Mercenary Tactical Operations (MTO), new balancing and quality of life changes, an urgent call to arms rings out across New Eden to defend important Deathless arrays, insurgency deployments are coming to EVE Vanguard, and Winter Nexus is fast approaching.
MERCENARY TACTICS
Since the launch of Revenant, capsuleers have been hard at work constructing and destroying mercenary dens all over nullsec space. Today, Mercenary Tactical Operations (MTO) have been introduced to these dens, enabling capsuleers to seize control of their systems’ destiny. Upwell has lobbied for a crackdown of the transportation of the encrypted infomorphs of workers in breach of their work contracts, but the Deathless Circle has found a way to remotely transmit infomorph applicants using infomorph decryption keys, unlocking the same kind of remote consciousness that capsuleers use when they die. The production of these keys can be further stimulated through mercenary site activity and they can be delivered to the Deathless for handsome rewards. Dive into MTO today to drive development and reduce anarchy by completing operations, boosting production of infomorph decryption keys that can be traded for valuable rewards, and eliminating potential workforce disruption.

This functionality elevates mercenary dens into critical strategic assets, turning them into battlegrounds for those seeking to shape the future of New Eden.
PROSPER WITH OR WITHOUT THE DEATHLESS
In connection with the Vanguard deployment starting on 28 November, the Deathless Circle has deployed Trustbreaker Arrays, which connect to the enigmatic Warden structure in Zarzakh. These arrays scan for crucial passkeys required to breach planetary defenses, enabling Vanguard forces to claim planetary strongholds. However, the arrays are now under siege by Drifter forces, and the Deathless has issued a call to capsuleers to intervene.

From 26 November to 2 December, pilots can defend the arrays to earn ISK rewards, or destroy them to seize passkeys as valuable commodities. These skirmishes offer a high-stakes choice: stand with the Deathless or shut their operations down.
BOOTS ON THE GROUND, STORMS IN THE SKY
The battle intensifies on 28 November, as war descends to the surface in EVE Vanguard. Insurgency deployments unleash warclones on planets to directly impact the ongoing war in space. In addition, capsuleers get daily rewards for taking flight in EVE Online between 28 November and 1 December: Vanguard-themed SKIN design components, 3,000 EverMarks, and 50,000 Skill Points. Choose your allegiance, shape planetary battlefields, and leave your mark on the EVE Online universe from the ground as well as amongst the stars. Learn more about EVE Vanguard and add the game to your Steam wishlist so you don’t miss a moment of action.

Winter Nexus returns on 5 December, bringing icy storms and seasonal rewards, giving you plenty to fight for across the stars. Make your winter unforgettable as you claim daily prizes and battle Sansha forces for riches and glory.
NOT SO LITTLE THINGS
Quite a few balance changes have also been made, many based directly on your feedback, for nearly all areas of space.

A few ships, like the Ferox Navy Issue and the Eos were overperforming, which has been addressed by making them more engageable. Heavy assault cruisers have regained their MWD signature radius bonus to make them a bit more viable in the current meta, and various other ships, like the Ashimmu and Maulus Navy Issue, have been improved.

This update also introduces several changes aimed specifically at mining. Resources can now be compressed through the right-click menu instead of the compression window, exhumers and barges have improved locked targets, and excavators are now faster.

Over in the warzone, changes to Factional Warfare and Pirate Insurgencies ensure more meaningful engagements with improvements to Battlefield sites, shifting the makeup of signatures, buffing deployables, and more.

Today's release also ushers in a few Little Things to improve quality of life. While some Little Things are bigger than others, these are some of our favorite changes to make. If you have any QoL suggestions, head on over to the EVE Online Forums where we'd love to hear from you.
REVENANT: THE STORY SO FAR
New Eden has been a hive of activity since the launch of Revenant, with mercenary dens and Deathless ships being deployed and destroyed, corporations setting up ambitious projects, and proudly displaying their own colors, adding new patterns and hues to the tapestry of the cluster.

It will be interesting to see how you will use the latest opportunities to continue writing the story of New Eden.

Fly safe.
