Trading Spaces - Jita Remastered

Trade-hungry Capsuleers,

The big unveiling of the new the Jita 4-4 Trade Hub in Caldari space is now close!

The Jita 4-4 renovation and expansion project provides much needed additional space and specialist facilities for the many corporations that operate out of the station. As Jita continues to be the busiest trade hub in all of New Eden, its renovation is to be celebrated in-game with a daily login event and a series of parades across Highsec with challenges.

Daily rewards consist of a new set of special Jita Celebration Fireworks, and Capsuleers can get SKINs and apparel from the parade challenges!

Capsuleers should be aware that they will need to update their existing bookmarks around the Jita 4-4 station, as due to the size and undock points of the renovated station, their bookmarks will no longer be valid.

There will be a CCPTV art stream on 10 November discussing the changes to Jita, Supercarriers and more, so be sure to catch that on Twitch.

Vat Out of Hel - Now Live

Immortal Capsuleers,

As part of the Phoenix Quadrant, the Vat Out of Hel update to Supercarriers is now live in EVE Online! This significant update to the Supercarrier class introduces the new Tactical Capsuleer Recloner, stunning new visuals, and added ship balance for these behemoths of New Eden! Be sure to read the full details on these changes in the original announcement.

To complement the Vat Out of Hel update, the Headhunter SKIN has returned to EVE Online's New Eden Store for the Aeon, Hel, Nyx, and Wyvern with a 20% discount. The offers are available until 11:00 UTC on 17 November.

In addition, the Blazing Phoenix Pack and Ascendant Phoenix Pack are both on sale in the EVE Store until 11:00 UTC on 1 December! The Blazing Phoenix Pack contains the Capital Ships Skill Book to start you on your way to flying EVE's largest ships - including Supercarriers - as well as Skill Books for using Fighters.

Dynamic Frontiers Update

Bountiful Capsuleers,

The Dynamic Frontiers update is now live in EVE Online, introducing the Encounter Surveillance System to nullsec space, and also the Dynamic Bounties System!
Dynamic Bounties System
The Dynamic Bounties System (DBS) will ensure that income generation in New Eden is more evenly and fairly spread across the universe. Each solar system will have a multiplier that affects the bounty output based on player actions and risk, potentially leading to greater overall payouts.

An additional purpose for the Dynamic Bounties System is to make income generation from botting harder and give corp leaders, corp members, and sovereignty owners more tools to identify botting activities.

The DBS will be active in all nullsec systems, including those that feature NPC-held sovereignty. You can read the full details of these changes in the Dynamic Bounties System dev blog.
Encounter Surveillance System
The Encounter Surveillance System (ESS) will help create more exciting gameplay opportunities in nullsec space!

There will be a permanent ESS placed in every sovereign nullsec system, excluding NPC-held ones, and a percentage of bounties generated in each of those solar systems will be delivered to the ESS, rather than the player’s wallet. The percentage is fixed and takes effect after the Dynamic Bounties System calculation is applied, but keep in mind, there's always a risk that other players can steal the income from the ESS banks!

Be sure to read all the details in the Encounter Surveillance System dev blog.

The Art of EVE Live stream

Art-loving Capsuleers,

People say that the CCP art department's ability to mesmerize players with their creations must have its origins in something beyond human comprehension and often cannot be explained by common laws governing our universe.

Even if we naturally agree with this factual statement, we will try and decipher some of the mysteries behind the work that went into, among other things, the new Jita 4-4 station, Proving Grounds environments, and the Supercarrier update. If we get lucky, we might even discover a secret method that the Triglavian Collective had planned for harvesting stars or learn about never-before-seen Stellar Transmuters and their states.

To catch this event in all its glory, all you need to do to tune in to CCPTV on Tuesday 10 November at 14:30 UTC, where CCP Convict will sit down with CCP Myrkur, CCP BlueScreen, CCP Jörg, and CCP BunnyVirus to share all the details with you!

You’re going to want to be there on time as we will start the show with a New Eden motor show of galactic proportions!

Update on the Triglavian Invasion

Last week saw the start of updates being made to content in the newly-formed Triglavian-controlled region of space known as Pochven. Further updates were made this week, and more are planned for the future!

The manner in which standings with the Triglavians are affected have changed. Standings that were gained with Triglavians, EDENCOM and Rogue Drones from Rogue Drone sites during what has since been declared an exploit have been reverted. It is also now easier to gain standings with the Triglavians and EDENCOM.

Another recent change has updated access to the Pochven region, with wormholes now offering more consistent access to Triglavian space, and Filaments leading to the region now being easier to find.

In addition, there are now combat sites of varying difficulty located within the region, inhabited by Triglavians, EDENCOM, Drifters and Rogue Drones, with additional sites due to appear in the coming weeks.
