EVE Online's Quadrant 3 is called "Zenith", and its arrival sees the seismic reshaping of New Eden come to pass! The final chapter of the invasion story arc will come to an end as the Triglavians' plans approach their climactic conclusion, and Capsuleers will have a huge part to play in the star-spanning consequences of that reshaping.

The Eclipse Quadrant was an incredible journey through events, celebrations, login campaigns, huge visual updates and balance changes, as well as the introduction of new and exciting ships, culminating in the final chapter of the Invasion expansion.

The Zenith Quadrant will now ramp it all up and kick off with a big update to the Abyssal Proving Grounds feature, and the introduction of new Proving Filaments to New Eden. The Proving Filaments will take Capsuleers from any point in space, directly to an Abyssal Proving Ground inside Abyssal Deadspace where they will engage in PvP combat! Different combat formats, specific ship classes, new leaderboards and new Triglavian-themed settings will all ensure an explosive start to the Quadrant!

Minmatar Liberation Day is here again, so it's time to celebrate the life and culture of the Republic and its people! There is a daily login event running until 11:00 UTC on 12 July where you can claim free rewards, as well as Minmatar parades in selected systems, and there will even be an awesome player-run gathering in-game to check out!

By logging in daily during the Liberation Day event, you can claim free gifts such as Minmatar-themed character apparel, a Liberation Day Fireworks Crate, Nefantar SKINs, and Skill Points to boost your training. Pilots in Omega Clone State will get bigger rewards, while also being able to claim the Alpha rewards too!

In addition, you can visit Liberation Day event sites and witness celebratory parades where there will also be daily challenges with Skill Point rewards. These will take place in the Rens, Hek, Eram, Teonusude, Pator, Altrinur, and Hjoramold systems.

What's more, there will be in-game player-run Liberation Day celebrations and tournaments to attend in the Dal system with a number of activities taking place, starting at 19:00 UTC on Friday 10 July. Make sure you check out all the details on the EVE Online forums!

Dear Capsuleers,

Due to the ongoing global circumstances surrounding the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to cancel the official EVE event in San Diego that was scheduled to take place between 18-19 September 2020. The safety and well-being of our players, staff and the general public remains absolutely paramount, so we feel the decision not to go ahead with the San Diego event represents the most responsible course of action available to us at this time.

We would also like to share that we will not be hosting any physical CCP events in 2021. Instead, we intend to focus more on delivering you amazing digital experiences that everyone can enjoy from the comfort of their home. We have already increased the amount of unique content on our CCP Twitch channel, and are looking forward to bringing all of our crazy ideas to fruition!

That said, meeting your space friends in person creates an entirely different vibe than any virtual event. Therefore, we will be increasing our support for community-led events in 2021 by actively promoting player gatherings, increasing dev presence, and providing swag that every Capsuleer will long to have in their collection!

We encourage organizers of EVE Online community events to reach out to us by sending an email to [email protected] at their earliest convenience in order to start exploring options and begin preliminary discussions with us on how we can enhance your plans for next year.

Lastly, we know that some of you were planning to come to Iceland in 2021. Even if there won’t be an official Fanfest to attend, we invite all Capsuleers to come and visit us in Reykjavik. We will be happy to arrange office tours around our brand new HQ for individuals and smaller groups. Should you decide to get together and travel to Iceland in larger numbers, then please do let us know so we can save the date and welcome you.
