Are you ready to set the Guinness World Record?

Phase III happens on the 23 November at 20:00 UTC, where we aim to beat CCP's own Guinness World Record of the "Most concurrent players simultaneously involved in a single multiplayer PvP videogame battle" achieved by EVE Oline players, when a total of 6,142 players took part in an enormous battle - the Siege of 9-4 - in January 2018

EVE KOREA IS LIVE!

EVE Online is now officially live in the Republic of Korea, with full localization of the game client in the Korean language!

Our passionate Korean community of Capsuleers now have improved access to all essential elements of the game, which will result in more players coming into EVE Online.

Our other Asia-Pacific time zones in EVE Online - including players from Japan, Australia and New Zealand - will see a marked rise in activity and presence, which will naturally bring more content and excitement to the game at those times.

This is just the beginning as we will be constantly looking to improve and enhance the experience for our Korean players, and for all of the languages we support with EVE Online.

CCP Games will also be present at the enormous G-Star 2019 event in Korea to support this release, including CEO Hilmar V. Pétursson who will be giving a presentation at the event, and a selection of CCP Games developers will also attend.

The event will offer an excellent opportunity for existing and prospective Korean Capsuleers, as well as all attendees of G-Star, to get hands-on experience with the Korean version of EVE Online, including opportunities to experience elements of the game that would not normally be immediately accessible to new players.

EXPERIENCE EVE ONLINE IN KOREAN!

We’re delighted to announce that CCP Games will be taking EVE Online to G-STAR 2019 alongside Pearl Abyss from November 14-16. We’re also super happy to let the EVE community know that preparations for the launch of EVE Online in Korean will soon be complete!

Many of our pilots might remember the announcement back in March, when we confirmed that Korean localization would be coming to New Eden. The wait is now coming to an end and soon the Asia-Pacific time zones in EVE Online, which include our incredibly passionate communities from Japan, Australia and New Zealand, will see New Eden become more accessible to pilots from the Republic of Korea.

We’re very excited to welcome Korean speaking pilots to the most amazing community in online gaming, and we’re very interested to see the boost that this new localization will give to the communities in the eastern hemisphere.

We’ll be watching closely to see how the political landscape of New Eden develops in the Asia-Pacific time zones and are very interested and excited to see how Korean pilots will either fit into (or disrupt!) the current political structure of New Eden.

Korean localization for EVE Online will be launched on November 14th, the first day of G-STAR 2019, and both current and potential future capsuleers who are attending will be able to try it out live on the show floor during the event! We’re super excited to be heading to G-STAR this year with a selection of EVE Online developers and can’t wait to meet many of our Korean capsuleers there!
