Weekly Dev Update - January 29/20
Hey Vikings,
We are progressing on the work from the previous week but we are also starting some big changes in the world exploration. This includes creating some Camps (Elf Bastions) that will have Gates, that require a key to unlock.
This week weβre:

π β Continuing Level Design of the Dark Elf Bastion
π β Modelling in 3D the Gates of the Dark Elf Bastion
πΏ β Continuing on implementing the new Grass System
π β Designing AI with new Movement Patterns & Behaviors
π’ β Implementing Free Construction with Walls, Slopes and Grounds
π¨ β Fixing various issues for Controller, UI, Crashes, Modules & Materials
π β Researching various features for Hot/Cold Gauges, Events & Season Changes
π β Texturing/Modeling in 3D the Lindworm Creature
What's a Lindworm? Glad you asked. It's a legendary, dragon-like, serpent-like monster with claws. It won't be flying around Midgard though, as it's wingless, but you can bet it's going to slither around the Land of Pools in the future. Adding more creatures to the world is part of continuing our the quest of making Midgard feel more alive. Here's some of its original concept art (we'll be showing its final form very soon)!:
