Howdy Gamer folk!

We wanted to take this chance to highlight some of the recent videos and articles that have been released in and around the alpha testing phase.

Without these folks.. we don't exist. Our Steam Wishlist recently broke 40k and shows no signs of slowing down. We are grateful and excited for what comes next.

Here are some newer videos and articles about the game that have been released over the last few weeks. We appreciate everyone's patience as we prepare for steam FPS fest which will feature an entire week of free Exfil play. April 13th we will be kicking it off with a live stream featuring all our favorite streamers. Stand by for more details!

[h2]What a weekend! [/h2]

First and foremost a huge thank you to all our new friends in the discord. We grew our discord from about 700 members to over 1200 in just over 48 hours. Lot's of amazing new people around and great affirmation that we are on the right path.

Some stats

15000 players applied for the steam playtest although we capped off the capacity at 10k



Our Wishlist saw it's highest one day total ever as well with 4081 just on Sunday alone.



We also saw our global rank rise from #917 in steam to #766 and it continues to move by the hour!



Without a doubt the biggest highlight was how much fun people had. We can't thank everyone enough for all the hours they put in with one streamer streaming more than 20 hours of gameplay!

After regrouping and working our way through our bugs we will be preparing for steam FPS Fest coming April 15-22nd!

Please be sure to add yourself to the steam testing group and stand by for a huge 7 day test of Exfil gameplay.

Steam playtest will go live Sat morning (time to be announced exactly) but we have already begun activating groups of testers.

[h3]Here are the top 5 things you should probably know about Exfil[/h3]

1. First and foremost Exfil is a game meant to be played with a groups of gamers locally hosted. We do put up some community servers to bring everyone together for testing but ultimately Exfil is a sandbox Milsim in which players are going to write their own stories. This is Chapter 1

2. Exfil the game is made by two developers. We each wear about 40 different hats including our day to day jobs. Set your expectations accordingly! We do our best and improvements take time.

3. Exfil is a tactical shooter. It doesn't hold your hand or have flashing bells and lights to lead you to the next objective. To be properly prepared everyone should watch the following video made by our community members B-wild and his merry misfits

4. Exfil is alive and well today in our discord. We meet up there, play games together and even develop in unreal engine together. Anyone is welcome to the neighborhood, Don't be shy!

5. Exfil is community driven. We are in constant daily contact with our community and actively close their bugs and make improvements based on feedback. We check in with our communities and engage them in regular feedback and playtest sessions. It takes a community to build an indie game!
