Hey everyone!

This week we have some more insight from the developers into the development process of Bounty Battle!

Before starting this project, the developers of Bounty Battle were huge fans of "vanillaware" productions-it was one of the reasons they wanted to produce high-quality 2D assets.

In Bounty Battle, special care was taken to bring guest characters and their worlds into the game. Some characters were easy to convert, because the games they came from looked similar aesthetically, or had similar gameplay mechanics.

For other games it was more complicated, especially for the more minimalist or pixel art games. This process could take up to several weeks, creating all of the assets necessary to make the heroes and their attacks recognisable.

The main thing during the development process was to keep a visual cohesion when the whole roster of the game is together.
