Verified on Steam Deck!

Hey everyone, things have been a little quiet on the update front here as we welcomed a new baby to our little family (!!!!).

I did manage to welcome a Steam Deck to the family too, though. It's much more technically-impressive and has more buttons. I've been loving it so far, and it inspired me to return to Dungeon Deathball to address the issues that were preventing it from getting that big green 'verified' tick.

So, with version 1.4.4 now available on Steam I am happy to announce that Dungeon Deathball is now Steam Deck Verified, meaning it's fully functional and works great with the built-in controls and display.

If you've been fortunate enough to get a Steam Deck then be sure to let me know how you find it on there.

The main issue preventing the game being verified was that some of the text was too small and difficult to read. To address this, all the small text now uses a different font that's bigger and more legibile. This required a redesign of numerous interface elements, but it was worth the effort in my opinion.

You can read the full patch notes here.

By the way, I might have a new game heading to Steam soon (parenthood duties permitting). Remember to follow my developer page if you want to be notified when it's available.

Thanks for following Dungeon Deathball. I hope you enjoy the new changes!
