[h2]🚀 What’s next for Pyramid Games?[/h2]
Many of you have been asking about the future of Dinosaur Fossil Hunter and our team's current focus.

As you know, after releasing many updates for DFH (culminating in the v2.5 PC Update in March 2024), our small team shifted full focus to our other ambitious title: Occupy Mars: The Game.

Developing Dinosaur Fossil Hunter taught us incredible lessons about simulation games, which we used to make Occupy Mars better. Now, after a long journey in Early Access, we are thrilled to announce that
🚀 Occupy Mars is scheduled to leave Early Access and hit version 1.0 on January 30th, 2026!

[h3]👀 Looking towards the future (and maybe a sequel?)[/h3]
Reaching the 1.0 milestone for Occupy Mars is a huge moment for us. It closes a very busy chapter and, more importantly, opens new doors.

Once we deliver the full experience for our Mars explorers, we will be able to look at new horizons. We dream of returning to the world of paleontology with a fresh perspective. We are seriously considering a potential Sequel to Dinosaur Fossil Hunter in the future—this time built from the ground up on Unreal Engine 5 to deliver better performance, stunning visuals, and deeper mechanics. ✨
