Let's Meet the Zebasi!

"M'basana Jerozi, more commonly known as the "Geroffy," was the first of many animals to be cataloged by Zebasi scholars in the Zuzanna Yaya, the Square's largest compendium of flora and fauna. Horticulture, zoology, botany, and biology are all fields of study for the inquisitive inhabitants of Zeboya."

Hello Polytopians,

In a continuation of our weekly updates, we’d like to tell you more about the Zebasi! Hailing from the land of Zeboya, the breadbasket of the Square, the Zebasi spend their days working their farms or leisurely watching the sun set on their serene savanna. A jovial and inquisitive folk, the Zebasi are always looking for new ways to understand the world around them.

They ride the tall Geroffy:

And eat the juicy Waongii:

The Zebasi begin the game with the Farming technology and plenty of nearby crops just waiting to be harvested. This technology allows them to grow their cities a lot, oftentimes larger than other tribes.

The more you grow a city, the more opportunities you have to acquire Giants for that next great offensive, or Parks to help raise your score in Perfection or Glory. The Farming technology also provides access to the Construction technology, allowing you to build Windmills which will let you get extra population from the many farms you’ll build.

If you want a tribe that can grow massive cities, or simply like watching geroffies stroll leisurely among the baocacia trees, then the Zebasi are the right tribe for you!

Let's Meet the Luxidoor

"Carts full of gold, jewels, fabrics, and incense flow out of the temple of Exigeluss, the God of Wealth, blessing even the poorest of Luxidoor with a life of extravagance. Of course, nothing is free, and the Emperor wonders what Exigeluss will ask for in return…"

Hello, Polytopians!

In a continuation of our weekly updates, we’d like to tell you more about the Luxidoor! These wealthy snobs prefer a life of decadence from the safety of their mighty capital! A people of business, the Luxidoorian streets are lined with markets and a multitude of shopkeepers trying to peddle their wares to anyone with the cash.

They ride the enormous Phantrix:

And eat the succulent Lôni Fruit:

Unlike the other tribes, the Luxidoor don’t start the game with a technology, but with a larger capital. Their capital begins at level 3 and with a Wall, so they begin with quite the advantage!

The Luxidoorian bonus might not seem as flashy as the bonus of other tribes, but make no mistake, a larger capital provides you a myriad of early game options. Starting with an income of +4 stars a turn, or slots to support 4 units at once, the Luxidoor get a head start in both economy and in warfare. Their land is also abundant in fruit and trees, and can make getting an early Giant relatively easy in many circumstances. The Luxidoor are a force to be reckoned with!

If you like a tribe that has a fantastic early game and excels at bragging to everyone else about just how rich they are, the Luxidoor are the right tribe for you!
