We're back and faster than ever after docking for a game engine and performance upgrade. Thanks to all the VR pirates who eagerly awaited on standby for us to set out to sea once again. Treasure awaits ye!
New Additions
- Added in foam trails behind ships.
Graphics Settings
- Access through Pause Menu > Settings > Graphics
- Lowering quality options will improve frame rate.
- Added MSAA options.
- Added Bloom Quality options.
- Added Sail Animation options.
- Added Water Reflections option.
Improvements
- Up to 50% performance improvement due optimizations that include reductions to memory and CPU usage.
- Unity Engine version upgrade.
- Enhanced ‘X-Ray’ effect rendering.
- Significant lighting system optimizations.
- Task threading system to increase performance.
- Reduction of loading stalls during gameplay.
Bug Fixes
- Fixes for rendering distant islands.
- Fixes for lighting system.
- Fix for memory leak with pooled objects.
