Lawless Lands,

Hey everyone! Here is the next huge update to the game!



This update adds a lot of new content and features such as the randomized rumor system, world modifiers to ensure each playthrough is unique, mobile repair system that lets you maintain your own gear, scrolls for spells, more skills, and a ton more! Within a few more months, the game is planned to be finalized and released!

-You will now gain 5% of the Durability in Scrap when a Weapon or piece of Armor breaks
-Added Repair Hammer (Has a 1% chance to break everytime you repair equipment)
-Added 3 Experience gained whenever Repairing an Item
-Added Ability to Repair Equipment without the need for a Blacksmith by using a Repair Hammer

-Experience Requirements and Experience Curves have been adjusted
-Poisons no longer return the Empty Vial after use like Potions do
-Added a Sound Effect when Text Displays
-Added a Randomized Interior Sound Effect List
-Slightly Increased the Duration between Random Sound Effects
-Greatly reduced the Chance of becoming Diseased when in a Plague Zone (Instead of 15 out of 1000, the chance is now 3 out of 1000 or a .003% chance)
-Increased time between being affected by Temperature Zones and Plague Zones (Half a second more)
-Added a proper Description to Life Force Spell
-Added Scroll variant for all Spells (They are usable only once and then are consumed, they allow anyone to cast the associated spell, they are VERY slow to use so your initiative is much slower, they do not require spirit, they have a -5% chance per spell level to work starting at 80% and going down)
-Added Scrolls to the Loot Pool for Urns and Chests (It is a very low chance to find them, but even lower to find more than one at a time)
-Changed some Skill Use Descriptions
-Updated some Combat Result Terminology
-Made ALL Spells require a Success Check in order to work (This also means that even if you're casting a spell on an ally, it may fail)
-Updated many Enemy AI Skills to require a Success Check in order to work (Such as Set Bone for Skeletal enemies - it will no longer ALWAYS heal them)
-Restored Messages instantly Displaying, but added a subtle Sound to play whenever a new Message appears (The original idea was to indicate a new message was displayed, but it made the game feel very slow and message display dragged out - I think this is a good middleground)
-Specific Heavy Attacks now do +1 Damage but are -1 Initiative and cost 2 Durability
-Removed some Learnable Spells from Ashmand and Almaric (Priest and Paladin Companions - They cannot get black/death spells, red/aggression spells, or blue/protection spells anymore)
-Holy Companions (Ashmand and Almaric) now have an additional 25% bonus protection from Holy Damage
-Added more Supply Stashes to the World Map
-Added more Preset Encounters to the World Map
-Added more Terrain to the World Map
-Made some various Systems more efficient

*The world modifier system is experimental and may be changed to a new game + additional option once you complete the game. Feedback is appreciated.*

NOTE: You need to start a new game if you encounter any issues, especially with quests.
