5/20/20 GIANT Update 1.4.9

Lawless Lands,

Hey everyone!

Here is the next major update for the game! I normally would wait a few more days to release the update to avoid corrupting everyone's saves, but I am doing it now since there were some fixes that needed to be put in place.

We're rapidly approaching the finish line! Just a bit more work and the game will be completed! Check out the complete change log for this update below!

Finished World Map:

The world map image is finalized and the in game world map is completed. Some things will still be added to it, but the layout above is finished! Decorations have been added all around and so has more terrain detail.

Bounty Hunting:

Hunt criminal or creature alike with the new bounty hunting system! Bounties are posted all over the place, so be on the lookout for wanted posters with contracts to take on. Each bounty is unique and provides a unique challenge in some way. They also change according to progress to provide a fair experience. There are 7 of them in the game at the moment.

Base Building:

The player-managed base has been added to the game! You can now gain access to an estate of your very own to upgrade and expand as you see fit! Complete a bit of the main storyline and you'll be awarded for your efforts!

Companion Dialogue:

Companion dialogues are something that I have always stayed away from, but due to popular demand on all three of my RPGs, I decided to add it in. Once you have your base, you can freely speak to each and every one of your companions in your group and find out more about them. Each companion offers several different and distinct conversations that can be about pretty much anything. Memories, experiences, past romances, future plans, hopes and dreams, flaws, current events, etc. The list goes on.

Stability and Efficiency Improvements:

With this update, there are a few minor bug fixes, a rare crash fix, and a lot of optimization. I spent days optimizing and improving background systems to be more accurate and perform better, while also increasing their performance. This in turn improved the game's stability and performance across the board.

Manual Save Deletion System:

The option has now been added into the game to delete saves from the load menu. While there, you will see a tooltip that tells you in order to delete an unwanted save, simply press F8 on your keyboard. You will no longer need to go to the game installation folder to delete old or unwanted saves!

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed some Enemy Elites not having their additional benefits
-Fixed an Issue with the Unholy Dealings Side Quest
-Fixed an Issue which resulted in a rare Crash with the Region Step System
-Fixed an issue with the "Plague Pyres" Side Quest where Lit Torches could not be used
-Fixed a Bug that prevented movement after using the Bed in the restored Vulkold: Infirmary Area

-Due to popular demand, 5 different deep and unique Dialogues have been added for each and every Companion (You can access it at your base when you are there - now you can really get to know each companion)
-Adventuring Kits can only be used on the World Map now (This change is to make it more realistic - you can't just pull out a tent inside of a shop and sleep there - and this will make blank books and prayer books more useful)
-Adventuring Kit Price reduced slightly (To compensate for the above change)

NOTE: You ABSOLUTELY MUST start a new game! The changes made in this update have drastically altered several systems and a lot of code was completely re-written so old saves will only cause issues!
