Hey everyone!

Over the past month, I've been very busy with college work but I wanted to stop by real quick and post about some new content features coming to Lawless Lands.

Fast Travel:

Yes, fast travel will be added into the game. Originally, I didn't want to add this feature as I thought it would make the game too "impersonal" and thought it would take away from the experience. The in game world map events are randomized and I added them to make traveling more interesting, but I feel that the game map has become so large that some form of fast travel is needed. While I don't know yet exactly how I am going to implement this, know that several ideas are being discussed and brainstormed and it will definitely be in the game soon.

Base Building:

As many of you know, the recent update added the first real upgradable/buildable objects in the game - destroyed bridges that could be repaired to allow faster movement to the surrounding area and also awards some fame for your charitable work. Like with my previous games Waste Walkers and Disgraced, Lawless Lands is going to have a form of base building and management as that has always been a favorite for the majority of the community. It will work similarly to how it did in Disgraced as you'll be able to purchase upgrades and hire servants and other workers to perform specific duties around the area. More details on this will be released soon.

Main Storyline:

The main plot of the game is still being worked on and has a lot more in store for everyone to enjoy. The focus of my development lately has been finishing the game world (world map) by filling it out with places to explore, side quests, flavor, settlements, and so on. Now that I'm almost finished with that, I plan to focus on the story and make it much larger and have a lot of depth like originally planned.

That's all I have time for at the moment, I have to go take a final exam now. Over the next few weeks, I plan to devote a lot of time to the game's development and hopefully have a lot of progress to show for it in the coming months.

Hey everyone!

I've had some avid testers playing the game over the past several days and they have been reporting issues and bugs nonstop. So, here is another quick patch. You should not need a new save for this to work.

Update 1.3.9 Change Log:

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed a Glitch in the Intro which allowed the Player to skip part of it
-Fixed a Crash with the "Lost Shipment" Quest when arriving at the Quest Location
-Fixed a Bug with the "Pilgrimage" Quest requiring the Player to be Faithless in order to complete the Quest
-Fixed a Bug with the Overgrown Ruins that activates if you return there after the "Unholy Dealings" Quest
-Fixed a Bug with the Morg Monolith

Changes & Additions:
-Added a new unique Encounter to the Lorindan Cathedral
-Added Pyrshen Treasury Area
-Added the ability to open an account in the Treasury which can be used from any major city (Acts as a strongbox - storage)
-Removed the 10 Lords that start off in the strongbox (Obsolete)

NOTE: You need to start a new game if you encounter any issues, especially with quests.

This is just a small patch to fix a few typos and a couple of other minor issues. As always I tried to include some new content.

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed Several Pathing Issues
-Fixed Numerous Typos
-Fixed a Bug with the Monolith in the Morg Ruins
-Fixed some Conversation Loops not working correctly in Averin

Changes & Additions:
-Added a new Steam Achievement
-Added a new Steam Community Avatar for Axen (New Companion) https://steamcommunity.com/games/880130/Avatar/List
-Added new Companion - Axen (Knight)
-Added some more Hints for the Intro
-Added new custom Coin Sound Effect for Buying, Selling, Trading, and so on (The old one was kinda lame)
-Added a Broken Bridge to the World Map (This is both useful to fix as it allows quicker access to the surrounding area and also serves as the first buildable/upgradable entity in the game for the resource system)
-Added 2 more Supply Stashes to the World Map
-Reduced the Chance of your Riding Horse running off when Resting on the World Map if you have Rations in your Inventory (With Rations 3% Chance, Without Rations 5% Chance)
-Made the Vulkold Bulletin Board Usable - It was just for show before
-Added Names to Tanya and Elizabeth (Ghoulified) in Combat
-Tweaked the Visual Range to be about 10% further, Fog of War being about 10% more Transparent

NOTE: You do NOT need to start a new game with this update.
