6/27/19 Update 1.3.2

Lawless Lands,

Hey everyone!

This is a quick patch to go with the update that came out just a few days ago. It fixes a few minor bugs and also adds some comfort features to allow for a smoother playthrough. As always, there are also some extra goodies, too. Check out the complete change log below!

Update 1.3.2 Change Log:

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed some Typos
-Fixed some pathing issues
-Fixed Altoln Signpost
-Fixed some Bones blocking movement

Changes & Additions:
-Added additional Signposts to Altoln and Mirone (Multiple direction entrances/exits)
-Reworded some Main Quest Dialogue
-Moved a tree in the Vulkold Commons District that blocked movement
-Added some additional but subtle Hints for the later parts of the Main Quest
-Added some more Dialogue and Hints to the "Broke Down" Side Quest
-Added Warhound Enemy
-Changed Horn of Heroes to not be sellable
-Changed Horn of Heroes Inventory Category
-Slightly reduced time between Random World Map Events (About 15%)
-Added Abandoned Cart Random World Map Event (5 variations)
-Made a section of Barricade in Vulkold Passable (To allow better movement in the area)

NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO START A NEW GAME/START OVER WITH THIS UPDATE.

6/21/19 HUGE Update 1.3.1

Lawless Lands,

Hey everyone!

This is another HUGE update for the game. It adds the randomized travel encounters that have a lot of extra content variety and activities. Some of them are combat based, but most are not. The update also adds several new areas, enemies, and a lot more content. The main quest also received a lot of attention, so give it a try!

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed some Typos
-Fixed Misrok not having mouse-over text
-Fixed some pathing issues
-Fixed Howl not having a description
-Fixed a few blurry Tilesets
-Fixed all Bridges so they have the proper Sound Effect when stepped on

-Changed Tracked Quest Symbol in Journal from "*" to ">"
-Changed the After-Battle Loot Report to not show if no Loot was dropped and will no longer show 0 Gold
-Added a little room between each Character in Combat
-Moved some NPCs so they don't block as much area
-Enemies in The Cage will now benefit from the Equipment on their Appearance instead of presets (They all got a little tougher)

A Note from the Dev on the Next Update

Lawless Lands

Hey guys.

I just learned that my family's dog that we have had since I was just a child is being put to rest tomorrow. His name is Odin and he is a really great dog. I'm going to need a few more days for the update. I'll continue working on it as best as I can, but I need some personal time. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

6/7/19 Development Status Update - Randomized World Events

Lawless Lands,

Hey guys!

Just wanted to stop by with a little more information on the randomized world event system.

Over the past few days, I've been working, tweaking, improving, and expanding this system. It went from being a few simple, 1-time events, to somewhere around 200 different possibilities and a huge variety at that. Originally, I was aiming for just 10 different events that could take place. Simple but effective. I decided to expand many of them to have several different outcomes or occurrences to be even more diversified and unique. An example of this would be the "Decayed Remains" event. Long story short, you come upon several bodies that look as if they have been there for a long time. There are 15 different outcomes to this single event. You might find some valuable loot, wolves looking to feed, the bodies could start growling at you and stand up and start shambling towards you, it could be a trap, etc. There is so much variety. Wandering merchants and blacksmiths, lost cargo, shady vagabonds, bad omens, sudden weather changes, the list goes on.

I was very excited about this addition to the game as it put my storytelling skills to the test even more than the quests and will definitely make things more interesting, especially while traveling on the world map. I really feel that this steps the game up and pushes it further in the right direction for what I'm going for. A true-to-heart, old-fashioned RPG.

The main story is now 100% my absolute priority.
