Testing of the Tactical Engine Has Begun!

It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to our first wave of tactical play testers!

There are only two of them, but they are pretty amazing folks!

Our first tester hails from the Great White North, is currently developing his own game, Valiant effort (which looks AMAZING!), and is the co-founder of the first person shooter, Insurgency (yes, THAT Insurgency).

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Andrew Spearin!

We'll be back tomorrow with our next tester, who is also amazing!

See You Tomorrow,

The BoC Team

Have a Listen!

Our fearless Project Lead, Luke Hughes, recently had a great chat with Kyle, Karrington, Andrew, & Cody of the Real Dudes Podcast.

It went great. These guys are great interviewers.
They even managed to squeeze some Top Secret details about Burden of Command out of Luke!

Listen to it here!

See you again soon,
Rob

Dynamic Hiding (Fog of War)

Hello Again Captain,

Let's talk about hiding.

Sure, it ain't the flashiest thing you can do. But sometimes it's your best bet.

Now you can get out of sight even if the enemy already has eyeballs on you.

Once you break line of sight, not only can't your adversaries see you, but they will also lose track of your position.

Which means you can effectively break contact.

But don't get too cocky. These guys are smarter than you think.

That is all for now, Captain.

Saber 6 out.

Recon by Fire

Greetings, Captain.

Today's lesson is all about Fog of War.

Think that tree line ahead looks suspicious?

You could scout it out yourself...Or maybe send a squad to check it out for you, though they won't be very happy about it.

Option three is to throw some hot lead into it and see what pops out.

Before you give that fire command, always remember....tracers work both ways.

That is all, Captain.

Saber 6 out.
