RUMBLE News

RUMBLE Version 0.4.1.1 has been deployed.

Hello fighters!

We have a game update for you today!

We've fixed most of the issues surrounding the Gear Market, meaning that the Economy system has been enabled again! You can now collect and spend Gear Coins to your heart's content!

We've also updated our LIV integration, and there are new hand positions for players with HTC Vive and Knuckle controllers. Please check the patch notes below for the full list of changes!

There's 1 issue we know of that we've been unable to reproduce and thus fix. This bug can cause changes you've made to your character to be lost. You will still have the items in your inventory, but your character will simply not have it equipped on them anymore.

If you find a way to consistently reproduce, please let us know, and sorry for the inconvenience if this happens to you!

Thanks for playing, and stay tuned for information on what's next for RUMBLE!

Hello!

Many players have had bad experiences with their Meta device, where their hands were stuck to their body.

This is not the case anymore. A hotfix has been published, and we've updated the OpenXR package, resulting in hands being tracked correctly now.

Next to that, the titles also have been fixed! So there are no surprising titles anymore. 👍

Apologies to all the players who've experienced one of these issues, but luckily we can all play RUMBLE now!

RUMBLE Version 0.4 - Character Customization is here!

Hello again RUMBLE fighters!

The long-awaited Character Customization update, RUMBLE Version 0.4 is here!

There's a lot to go over, so let's get to it!

RUMBLE Update 0.4 Overview
What's new?

Character Customization
We've made changes to the game's visuals across the board! Many objects, including the player character, now have more stylized shading!

Besides already looking different as a result of these changes, your fighter's appearance can be altered further with the new character customization feature! You can tweak your fighter's appearance from top to bottom, from their hair to their battle suit to the size of their muscles, and there are lots of color options too!

You will even be able to change how your fighter emotes in various situations! You can do this with items called "Expression Sets". Each Expression Set is designed to convey certain personality traits, see which one best suits your own RUMBLE fighter!

Naturally, with the coming of this update you will also finally be able to play as female fighters! There are no customization options that are exclusive to either male or female fighters, so let your imagination run free and create your own unique style!

Everyone starts off with the classic RUMBLE battle suit. There are lots of options available for you to completely customize it to your liking, but you will have to earn them!
Earning Gear Coins
From now on, you will be rewarded with Gear Coins when you complete a fight! The amount you receive varies depending on how long the fight lasted for, and whether you won or lost. There's also a modest bonus for being a good sport!

Gear Coins come in 4 varieties, and each is worth a different amount.
 • 1 Coin (gray)
 • 5 Coin (cyan)
 • 20 Coin (blue)
 • 50 Coin (?)
Gear Coins will not be purchasable, you will only be able to collect them through playing the game!
The Gear Market
The Mail Tube, the object that previously presented you with Totems when you ranked up has been transformed.

Now it is the Gear Market! The Gear Market is essentially a shop where you can pick up or purchase anything you can own in-game. It will be where you collect your Totems (if you have any left to collect) and where you spend your new Gear Coins on cosmetic items of your choosing!

In the future, when we add new moves and/or Shiftstones, the Gear Market will be the place where you pick them up!
The Dressing Room
When you've just purchased a new chestplate, you'll probably want to wear it too! Or maybe you simply think it's time to switch things up, either way, the all new Dressing Room is the place to be.

This is where you will be able to customize your fighter's appearance to your liking! On the right side of the Dressing Room stands the Part Cabinet, which is what you'll use to alter physical things like your hairstyle and your battle suit.

On the left you will find the Color Mirror, which is where you will be able to adjust all of your fighter's colors! Skin colors, eye colors, belt colors, and of course all of the colors of your chosen make-up and tattoo options, collectively referred to as "Markings"!

That's it!
We don't want to keep you any longer, head into the game and go explore all of these new things for yourself!

Unless you want patch notes, you can find those below that cool 4k update image down below.

Thank you so much for your patience waiting for this game update, we hope it enhances your RUMBLE experience as in kind. Good RUMBLING, merry Christmas, and a happy new year!

RUMBLE's 2nd Anniversary!

Happy 2nd anniversary everyone!
Today, the 23rd of September 2024, RUMBLE turns 2 years old! My, where oh where does the time go?
...Actually I'll tell you where, towards the development of the upcoming game update! This update will introduce Character Customization to RUMBLE when it releases later this year! Unfortunately we are still not quite confident to share details about when exactly the update will go live, so we once again ask you all to grace us with your patience as we keep working away at this content.

That said, to at least give you a little something, we have hastily prepared a short little video which will give you an idea of what the customization process will be like, interacting with the Dressing Room!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Also, to mark this occasion for those who do not own RUMBLE yet, the game will be available at a 20% discount for the coming 2 weeks! If you know someone who's been on the fence about joining this wonderful community of players, now would be a pretty good time to get them introduced.
Special Birthday Q&A Session
At 17:15 CEST, a live stream will be held on the RUMBLE Steam store page for a Q&A session with 1 of our developers and our new intern, hosted by the RUMBLE YouTuber Rumble Bee. If you're into that sort of thing, be sure to go check it out!

Thank you all for being a part of RUMBLE, if it weren't for you there would be nothing to celebrate today. We hope you look forward to the future of RUMBLE, may there be many more days like this one!
