[p]Today I release a game that I've worked on for 13 years. I started in the Summer of 2012, fresh out of college and an itch to create... something. And here we are. :)

A big thanks to my gamedev community, my beta testers, my musicians, my artists, my best friend, and my husband for all the help and advice over the years. Y'all the real MVP.

  • [p]UI Overall - Most of the font in the game is now the same. Damage font and worldmap UI all uses the same "talking" font, as an example.[/p]
  • [p]Final boss is split out. If you get past a certain point, the game will save that progress!
    Additionally, one of the final bosses moves slower and has more warning when she attacks.[/p]
  • [p]All spikes, lava, and acid won't kill you instantly anymore.[/p]
  • [p]Zaanlith makes a bunch of noise now. She's very cute![/p]
  • [p]There is new artwork before Valuna. It's very cute. :)[/p]
  • [p]You can simply push "up" on the controller to fly Alma on the world map! I also added more clouds, too![/p]
  • [p]Leto bullet explosions are rotated[/p]
  • [p]Button prompts are a wee bit smaller now.[/p]
  • [p]Various dialog tweaking and spelling issues. [/p]
  • [p]Updated Unity for the last time. :')[/p][p][/p]
[p]Bugs that were fixed

  • [p]Camera's got a heavy overhaul so they feel better[/p]
  • [p]VSync is turned on[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the tileset tearing issue[/p]
  • [p]Tabris and Kiki can properly "whisper" in dialog.[/p]
  • [p]Tabris had his particle effect adjusted so it's not obviously hanging out [/p]

  • [p]The final level was cut in half and completely redone, from the ground up![/p]
  • [p]Kaiden's AI got an overhaul - he'll go into his ceiling slam attack more, better tuned, won't glitch out in certain phases, etc[/p]

  • [p]Final dragon boss had her AI and artwork updated. She's been slowed down, made smarter, and will come back out to fight even if you "kill" her in phase 1[/p]

  • [p]Multiple passes at bringing the writing all together: Common theme of "hope" is mentioned more often, make sure the Abbo boys have their helmets on when they should, tweaking the ending, Gilbert mentions his whiskers twitch when around dust dragons and dust, etc[/p]
  • [p]Title card artwork that shows at the beginning of levels was updated[/p]
  • [p]Healthbar UI got new artwork[/p]

    Issac bullets will no longer target Jellycats Lurker grab bug - you’ll still be grabbed even after you kill the Lurker[/p]
  • [p]When you beat the game, the worldmap would show the wrong texture [/p]
  • [p]Gilbert will wash his butt again in a cutscene later in the game[/p]

October Update!

[p][/p][p]We're getting there! The big thing these past few weeks was hooking up Steamdeck support for the game, in terms of button prompts and making sure UI elements didn't go missing.[/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The other big bug I fixed was Leto being able to run around in cutscenes - put some jank code to make sure that doesn't happen anymore. ːsteamhappyː
I also did a few small bug fixings in cutscenes, made the music actually control on the title screen, and added some new artwork.
