Privateers "The Journey" Update Released
Hey Privateers! We know it has been a LONG time since our last update. Many of you have probably lost hope that we were going to keep working on it. We are sorry it has taken so long. Nonetheless, we are super excited to finally release the lasted changes we have been working on. The theme of this update is "The Journey" and it has a completely new experience for travelling to your event destinations. It also brings in a new "Ambitions" system that randomizes the victory conditions on each play through. After playing with the changes we think it really is getting much closer to our complete vision for the game (but not quite there yet)!
Below is a list of the some of the changes in the build…

- New travel experience for getting to your mission destination.
- New overworld events used during travel.
- Update tutorial to teach mechanics of new travel scene
- New crew wide buffs which can be applied based on event results.
- Added a new resource called rations which your crew require.
- Without rations your crew will become hungry and starve.
- Victory conditions have been reworked to be randomized per playthrough
- Finished adding the bonuses for several banners
- New UI for viewing your ship statistics
- New UI for viewing your ambition progress (victory conditions)
- Adjust balance around progression of game difficulty
- Changed loot drop formulas. More challenging enemies give much more loot.
- Improved readability of several UI windows
Fixed TONS of bugs that show up in edge cases
