NEW CAMPAIGN: RECLAIM THE NORTH

The North has fallen. Under the orders of the legendary Scourge of Winter, a wicked army known as the Desecrators has attacked Ostaria in the dead of winter and claimed the Northern lands for their own, driving their people south to Ungverija. Against great odds and through the worst winter in living memory, heroes from across the known world must join forces if they are to avenge and retake the North from the forces of darkness.

The new Seasonal Campaign will unfold between now and March 14 as the resistance pushes ever deeper into the frigid North, eventually culminating in an epic showdown at Augolia towards the end of the season!

STRIKE BACK WITH NEW PROMOTED UNITS

Muster an army of battle-hardened soldiers to fight for the North. Complete new Unit Challenges to promote your existing units, giving them the morale and extra power they need to face evil!
  • 3-Star Landsknechts (Available now):Promoted from the Halberdiers. These Ostarian soldiers serve year-round for high wages, making up for their price with deadly efficiency and excellent battle gear. They are equipped with a modified halberd that incorporates a hinged hook, allowing them to inflict greater injuries in battle.
  • 4-Star Armiger Lancers (Available December 28):Promoted from the Yeomen. Men of common birth permitted to bear heraldry, these soldiers have typically demonstrated great bravery on the battlefield, usually through saving the life of a member of the nobility. They are often the leading cavalry squadron, but the sheer number of casualties in the fight against the Desecrators has produced some all-officer units.
  • 5-Star Liao’s Rangers (Available January 18):Promoted from the Fire Lancers. Major Liao's company of Fire Lancers were part of a reconnaissance column exploring the north of the Borderlands, but were driven westwards by the severe winter. In Ostaria, they established themselves as a key threat to the Desecrators and found support in whichever snowbound village or farm could spare food, fire, and fodder.

ROYAL FALCON TAVERN

The weather outside may be frightful, but the fire and festivities offered by the Royal Falcon Tavern in Turul Város are so delightful! This new hub offers solace from the freezing weather and the threat of the Desecrators. Relax with fellow warlords, enjoy a hearty Winter Ale to warm your cockles, and take on quests from NPCs! Taverns are microcosms of life in Conqueror’s Blade, so be sure to visit often throughout Season VI to see new faces and opportunities here.

DYNAMIC WEATHER CONDITIONS

The North finds itself under attack from not only the Desecrators, but the longest and most severe winter ever. Dynamic weather conditions bring even greater immersion to the world of Conqueror’s Blade, as you’ll battle through light flurries and fierce snowstorms in your campaign across the Ostaria region.

CONQUER THE BATTLE PASS

Face the Desecrators and tackle new Seasonal Challenges throughout Season VI to unlock over 100 Free and Premium rewards, ranging from useful items to powerful weapons, and season-exclusive Attire. Get the Battle Pass to instantly unlock the imposing Desecrator’s Hero Attire, and ascend its Tiers to earn the Redeemers’ Unit Attire, a Scourge of Winter Weapon Box, the ultimate Archon Hero Attire at Tier 100, and so much more.

Hero Tokens, a form of seasonal currency, are the key to redeeming 11 new weapon skins throughout Season VI, inspired by the brutal craftsmanship of the Desecrators. You can also earn Blades, a new seasonal currency that can be used to unlock reimagined legacy cosmetics, featuring new variants of armour not available since Season II: Wrath of the Nomads!

COMING SOON: RUINED FIEFS (PvE)

The North’s fiercest defenders can help reclaim this fallen land in a new PvE mode, launching on December 29. Thriving in the ruinous wake of the Desecrators, Marauders have taken over ruined fiefs across the Ostaria region and are using them as bases from which to rob and murder any survivors. Help fight them off and use your resources to rebuild the fiefs to earn exclusive rewards, including the exclusive Frost Assassin, Blizzard Soldier, and Cold Steel Armour Sets, and the highly-coveted Blood Archon Hero Attire, a variant of this season’s Tier 100 reward from the Battle Pass!

Shared Unit XP is coming in Season VI

One of a number of new features coming as part of Season VI: Scourge of Winter is Shared Unit XP. Put simply, it’s a way of pooling Unit XP so you can work towards levelling up units without necessarily having to field them.

How it works is very simple:
  • If you field a unit that is not fully levelled up, it will earn the standard amount of Unit XP, with an added bonus of 10% that is added to your Shared Unit XP.
  • If you field a maxed-out unit, rather than no XP at all, the amount it would have earned will be added to your Shared Unit XP.

You can check out your current tally of Shared Unit XP by bringing up the Barracks screen of the Unit interface (press ‘U’), where you will see the total in the top-left of the screen. You can then distribute Shared Unit XP to your units as you see fit, by clicking on the ‘+’ icon next to the unit’s experience bar.

To offset the advantage of Shared Unit XP (such as not having to field a low-level unit alongside all your elite troops), there is a limit to how much you can accumulate. This will start at 1,000,000, which is plenty to guide a new unit through the first few levels so it can hold its own on the battlefield.

We’ll be tracking the accumulation and use of Shared Unit XP over the course of Season VI to ensure it’s a feature that benefits everyone. As ever, we’d love to know what you think.

New to Season VI: the Royal Falcon Tavern!

The Royal Falcon Tavern is opening for business on December 21!. Located just inside the main gate at Turul Város, it's the first hostelry in the world fit for heroes! Unlike the squalid backstreet pubs frequented by idlers and deserters, the Royal Falcon doesn’t simply offer a respite from the cold. It’s a place for warlords to meet, make plans, and undertake new and exciting missions!

All you have to do to enjoy its hospitality is enter through the door, where you can simply enjoy the sights and sounds of the bar, or, if you're up for a rewarding challenge, approach one of the NPC quest-givers. Being the place where news and newcomers arrive first, you can expect to see new NPC faces and challenges on a regular basis when Season VI: Scourge of Winter takes hold.

Don't forget to stop by the Royal Falcon when you next visit Turul Város. You'll be sure to receive a seasonally warm welcome!
