Turkish community: it’s time to make some introductions! Meet your new Community Manager: Link! Link is here to be the insider for Conqueror’s Blade fans in Turkey, and you may have already spotted him streaming on our Twitch channel and active in our Discord.

We sat down with Link and asked him about everything from gaming to what he hopes to bring to the community.

When and how did your love of gaming begin?

When I was just a kid, I played all kinds of video games, but the first one that was able to spark a light inside me was probably Wolfenstein 3D, and DOOM after that. At that point, I started playing video games and didn’t want to stop.

Do you have any other hobbies outside of gaming?

I like to draw, cook, and work out - need those gains!

Were you a Conqueror’s Blade fan before?

No; it was always on my radar, but I had never played Conqueror’s Blade before.

Share your Conqueror’s Blade build; what weapon do you wield, what Units do you like to take with you into battle, what is your favourite Attire, etc.?

Currently, my favourite weapon is the Short Bow, simply because I’m so used to playing shooter games and consider myself good at them. I usually take long-range Units with me, and for close range, I still choose Units such as Pikemen for a little additional range.

Tell us about how you got started in the Community Management world.

I always found it easy to communicate with people around me and on the internet, and one day, I just took a shot and tried my luck as a CM. What do you know? It turns out I’m a natural! I liked the job, and the communities liked me.

What is your favourite thing about streaming?

The moment to moment feel of it. Everything happens here and now. You communicate, play games and have fun with the viewer at the same time.



What brought you to Conqueror’s Blade and its community?

I’ve been searching for better opportunities in the gaming industry. I always found the MY.GAMES library to be very diverse and full of games with great potential. Conqueror’s Blade was one of those games.

What has been your favourite moment so far?

Every time I shot someone with my bow, probably. Feels good.

What do you hope to bring to the Turkish community in Conqueror’s Blade?

I hope to bring a respectful and cheerful vibe to the Turkish community. I hope to become friends with everyone and help them with all of their issues while also having fun with them through streams and in-game events. I’ll be their “inside man” in Conqueror’s Blade. I’m there for them.

I have good reflexes! I’m good at shooting things, really! (In video games, of course.) So when you see me on the battlefield, try to move around a lot.

To get your hands on the prizes, all you need to do is provide us with video evidence of your best Battle Cry. It can be a scream, a howl, or even a rallying quote - as long as it’s done with conviction!

The best Battle Cries of the bunch will receive the following prizes:

Entries must be submitted before 12:00 CEST on August 10, in one of the following ways:

• By providing a link to your video in the appropriate Discord channel
• Add a comment to the corresponding Facebook post, with a link to your video
• Sharing the video in either a Twitter or Instagram post that includes the #AgeofDynasty

Multiple entries are permitted, but only one Battle Cry per entrant will be considered.

The winners will be announced a couple of weeks after the competition closes, so make sure to check back to see if your scream was a screecher!

RULES

• Entries must be linked within posts submitted either to the corresponding Discord channel or Facebook post, or to Twitter or Instagram using the #AgeofDynasty hashtag.
• Multiple entries are permitted, but only one per entrant will be considered.
• Your entry cannot feature any pre-existing, copyrighted or third-party material. Only entries featuring original “voicework” will be considered.
• Faces don’t need to be visible in your video entries.
• Avoid any offensive content within your submission. Specifically, no blood, skeletons, dead bodies, or religious iconography (respectfully used or otherwise).
• Entries must be received before August 10th, 2021 at 12:00 CEST.
• We reserve the right to ask for evidence to prove that your entry was created by you.
• Entrants found to violate the Terms of Service or break competition rules are subject to disqualification up to and beyond the conclusion of the competition.
• Competition judges reserve the right to disqualify an entry without recourse or explanation - in such instances, we will seek to justify our decision in private if it is appropriate to do so.
• The best entry will be determined by the MY.GAMES Conqueror’s Blade team and the winner will be announced on the Conqueror’s Blade website after the contest has ended.
• You agree that your entry can be used by Booming Tech and MY.GAMES for promotional purposes (for example, for publication on our official social channels or websites) for all versions of Conqueror’s Blade across all territories in perpetuity.

Confucius is synonymous with Ancient Chinese history, and his philosophies remain prominent across China today. The philosopher and politician was most active during the Tang period of rule, the era which inspired Season VIII: Dynasty. His Five Classics formed the basis of Confucianism’s belief system of personal ethics and morality.

It is highly likely that the citizens of Longting would have used his teachings in their everyday lives, and Warlords should heed his lessons too, making sure not to rush into battles unprepared, pick yourself back up after defeat, and do not do unto others what you do not want done to yourself.

With that being said, here are five Confucius quotes to take with you into battle!

When victory seems out of reach, adjust accordingly to ensure you get back on track. As Confucius teaches, you can command your Unit to move into a different formation with a new line of sight on your opponents, offering new hope for success.



[h2]"Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation, there is sure to be failure."[/h2]
Preparation is key, and Confucius’ teachings can come into play even when preparing your Warband Build, making sure your components are harmonious, your Units are strong yet deft, and your power is equal to your versatility.



[h2]"The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence."[/h2]
When victory is achieved, so is distinction. If the right steps are taken, and the intention is there, triumph is never far away.

Death is not the end in Conqueror’s Blade, but the true fall from grace would be accepting death as defeat. Respawn, gather your Unit, and try again.

A well-led Unit is a successful Unit, so make sure to order them correctly, efficiently, and you will surely lead them to glory in battle.
