New Player Event: The Training Yard videos, pt3

After looking at Glaive and Spear classes in the first batch of Training Yard videos, and Maul, Musket, Poleaxe and Short Bow in the second, we complete the set by focusing on Dual Blades, Bow and Nodachi - widely considered to be the most difficult weapon classes to master.

In the fourth and final set of videos, we’ll have a round-up of various hints, tips and tricks

DUAL BLADES

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

As well as where to invest Attribute points and which Skills to learn, this guide gives some insight into how you should position yourself and time your attacks to be effective with Dual Blades.

BOW

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Agronome Gaming specialises in guiding beginners and he manages to pack a lot into this one for those players looking to pick up a Bow for the first time, with a look at the two most popular builds.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

This Bow guide delves deep into the stats, so if you like to look at spreadsheets before you head into battle, Denetax has you covered.

NODACHI

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

TheOrderNChaos is an unabashed Nodachi fan and this authoritative video should suit anyone coming to the class for the first time, with a look at Attributes, Runes, and Skills - plus some big-sword action at the end.

New Player Event: The Training Yard videos, pt2

After focusing on Glaive and Spear in the first tranche of Training Yard videos, our elite band of content creators bring us the second. Looking specifically at the Maul, Musket, Poleaxe and Short Bow weapon classes, this collection is considered a little more advanced than the last - so please pay attention at the back!

MAUL

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Critical69 confidently proclaims his Maul guide to be the best around. It’s certainly one of the most exhaustive and he even goes into Rune selection and crafting.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

While a third of the length of Critical69’s, this guide to the wielding a warhammer goes into the essentials of skill selection, combos and assigning Attribute points.

MUSKET

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

In this video, our host takes an exhaustive look down the sights of one of the game’s most misunderstood weapon classes, with Attribute, Skill and armour suggestions.

POLEAXE

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

If you’ve watched any of Evo Loz Gaming’s videos over the last couple of years you’ll know that the Poleaxe has been one of his favourite weapons. In this video he explains why.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

IroncladLion is a relatively new recruit to the ranks of the Content Creator Program, but not to Conqueror’s Blade. His in-depth tutorial goes through some worthwhile skill combos and includes some enjoyable historical context .

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

A third video from one of our most prolific Turkish content creators goes into great detail on how best to assign Attributes and select the skills that will make you successful with a Poleaxe.

SHORT BOW

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Critical69’s Short Bow guide starts off with a look at Attributes (or, rather, Attribute) and makes a compelling argument for using a very specific Short Bow build.

New Player Event: The Training Yard videos

Following on from the recent barrage of Training Yard community livestreams (the second of which is scheduled for May 28), we’re happy to bring you the first batch of video guides designed to complement what’s been learnt so far. Again, these have been produced by some of the most celebrated community content creators and, to help you back into your chair desks, they focus on what are considered to be the easiest weapon classes to master, the Glaive and Spear.

GLAIVE

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

The first video is by Coffee Fuelled Gaming, aka GlynGG, who likes to infuse his tips, unit reviews and guides with a good bit of humour. For this video he’s gone all out to enhance the destructive strengths of the Glaive at the cost of increasing its fragility.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

This Glaive guide from a member of the Turkish community starts with a general overview for newcomers to the weapon before looking at various skill combinations and trying them out.

SPEAR

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

In the same vein as the Glaive guide above, this video tutorial takes us through an introduction to the game’s pointiest weapon, before selecting the best skills to use for a series of duels.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Known for helping out players with his insightful explanations of units and game mechanics, Unfit Chaos takes some time out of his busy schedule to deliver a pointed explanation of Spear mechanics and tactics.
