Season VI: Scourge of Winter is coming to Conqueror’s Blade, with three new units soon to be marching through the swirling snows. They are all Promoted Units: upgrades to soldiers that are deemed worthy of joining the elite! 

As well as completing Unit Challenges to fully unlock them, you must also have a base unit to create a Promoted Unit. This can either come from your Barracks or, if you’ve yet to unlock it during regular gameplay, from completing the first stage of Unit Challenges. 

For example, the new Landsknechts is a 3-star pike unit. To fully unlock it you need to work through two Unit Challenge stages and have a unit of Halberdiers ready to promote. Fortunately, one is assigned to you after completing the first stage. 

All three units share the Winter Warriors trait, which makes them particularly suited to the cold climate. For the duration of Season VI they will be more effective in battle, so you should try to unlock them before the snows melt!




Landsknechts

Being a professional Ostarian unit, Landsknechts are better trained and equipped compared to Halberdiers. Their distinctive billhook pikes are a danger to any unit, but especially in a charge or against cavalry. 



 


Armiger Lancers

Armigers are warriors of common birth that have distinguished themselves enough to earn the right to bear heraldry. Many will have saved the life of a noble on the battlefield, and it’s in this role that they continue to excel, protecting Heroes and coming to their aid no matter the conditions.
 





Liao’s Rangers

Major Liao's company of fire lancers were part of a reconnaissance column exploring the north of the Borderlands, searching for the mountain pass through which bandits passed into Ostaria. Harsh weather saw them trapped, having to subsist in a foreign land and by the kindness of strangers. It made them swift and redoubtable, adding icy steel to their eternal fire.

 

We’ll be looking at each unit individually as they become available, with a new series of Unit Guides. Stay tuned for those and for more information on Season VI: Scourge of Winter in the days and weeks ahead.

With the opening of two new North American servers, we have updated the Event Schedule so that Territory Wars, Deathmatches and other time-limited battles remain convenient for as many players as possible:

Opening on December 16, the new servers will give North American players the freedom to choose the best way to connect to Conqueror’s Blade based on their location. Cloudwing Valley (West) is based in Sunnyvale, California, while Eagle Range (East) is based in Washington DC.

Starting TODAY at 09:00 (server time) and lasting until 23:59 on Monday, December 14, all battles initiated through matchmaking will earn combatants - warlords and their loyal units - an XP bonus of 30%. So, if you’ve been looking for an excuse to improve yourself and your troops, you now have one!

A fearsome horde known as the Desecrators has attacked the North. Moving under cover of winter’s freezing darkness, these brigands follow the orders of the Scourge of Winter, a villain of legend whose relentless wrath was said to plague entire regions from winter until springtime. As the survivors of their brutal assault flee south, a desperate alliance of heroes must assemble to fight back against this terror and deliver the land from doom.

Watch out for snowstorms across the Ostaria region, and be sure to stop by the Royal Falcon Tavern in Turul Város if you need to warm up! Additionally, new PvE content will unfold later in the season, where exclusive rewards can be earned by the fiercest defenders of the North.
